Michelle comes from a huge but loving, supportive family. Her beautiful granddaughter is the love of her life. She has two adorable dogs, one of which is paralyzed. Like many of us, Michelle is a CAREGiver 24/7 and wouldn’t have it any other way. Furthering her education and continuing to work in the medical field is her greatest achievement. When Michelle’s uncle became ill, the level of care and compassion the hospice nurses gave her uncle is what led her into this field. The appreciation and how we never forget to say “Thank You” for all that you do for the clients, is why she loves working for Home Instead Senior Care.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Michelle immigrated to the USA at 20 years old. She has a beautiful blended family that she loves so much, can't forget her supportive husband. Having a daughter serving in The US Army as a specialist in Michelle's native country South Korea, is her proudest achievement in life. When her mother-in-law was in hospice care, Michelle tended to her with so much compassion. During that difficult time, Michelle's husband noticed her natural gift of caring for others. He encouraged her to become a caregiver. Working for a company that is committed to providing quality care for seniors, is why she loves working for Home Instead Senior Care. When I tell you that I have client’s pleading with us for more of Dottie, I mean it. She just shines. No job is too tough. She is happy to take on your biggest challenge and her sole goal will be to gain the trust of that senior and their family. Dottie is able to adjust her “hats” to the different clients, personalities, and families we work with. That is a rare quality. She knows what the face of fear looks like and she wants to immediately put you at ease. She is here and everything will be just fine. She is an amazing CAREGiver, to say the least.
