  3. Let’s Mark 25 Years with $2.5 Million

Paul and Lori Hogan, founders of Home Instead Senior CareThis year marks the 25th anniversary for Home Instead Senior Care, and it’s been an incredible journey. In the early days, when we were running the company from my mother’s home, Lori and I could only imagine that it would grow to serve more than 90,000 seniors across the globe.

As we celebrate a quarter century, we can hardly count our blessings – there are so many. And yet, so many seniors are in need of the most basic things—food, shelter, clothing. Today, less than 1% of charitable grant dollars fund causes related to seniors and aging, creating a massive imbalance for older adults in need.

Lori and I are working to tip the scales. In honor of our 25th, we have decided to celebrate by doing something that has long been in our nature — giving back. We are gifting $500,000 dollars to the Home Instead Senior Care Foundation, and we’re calling on others to join us. If we can reach $1 million in donations, we pledge to match it, for a total donation of $2.5 million to the Home Instead Senior Care Foundation.

We want to wake up the world to the needs of seniors everywhere. And we invite you to join us. Donate at GIVE65.org/25years. Thank you for supporting seniors and for being part of our journey. Let’s make it our mission – together – to tip the scales for seniors.
