Code of Ethics

Policy

Central Jersey Pro medical Corp, DBA- Home Instead Senior Care has an obligation to protect and preserve the basic rights of the clients served and to assure honesty and trustworthiness in all dealings.

Therefore, it is the policy of Central Jersey Pro medical Corp, DBA- Home Instead Senior Care to provide a consistently high level of ethical conduct from all employees.

Procedure

  1. The following ethical expectations established by Central Jersey Pro medical Corp, DBA- Home Instead Senior Care are meant to guide the conduct of all employees. Failure to adhere to this Code of Ethics shall result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
     
  2. Code of Ethics:
    1. Caring. This is the purpose of our work.
    2. Protect the client's rights. Each client will be given a copy of the Client's Bill of Rights and Responsibilities upon admission.
    3. Assure safe, competent and reliable care.
    4. Conscientiously cooperate with other community resources necessary to build a comprehensive, effective service delivery system.
    5. Conduct business using practices that do not lead to individual personal gain or jeopardize Central Jersey Pro medical Corp, DBA- Home Instead Senior Care's assets and reputation.
    6. Comply with all laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and feel obligated to report any such infractions.
    7. Exercise sound accounting practices and accurate, straightforward billing procedures. Bills will be for the amount and type of service provided only and billed at the accepted rate for that care. There will be no kickbacks, payoffs, or other incentives to provide a service for which a person might not be eligible.
    8. Maintain open, honest and understandable communications that earns the trust of the community and staff. Central Jersey Pro medical Corp, DBA- Home Instead Senior Care assures that all services, benefits, costs, and agency capabilities are accurately and fairly presented in all public documentation.
    9. Treat all employees fairly and equitable with mutual respect and courtesy. Written personnel policies and on-going performance appraisals will be maintained.
