Teryl McCaffrey graduated from Western Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nursing and attended Pennsylvania State University for Nursing.  She brings more than thirty years of experience in serving older adults in a variety of settings.  As a member of the Home Instead Senior Care team, Teryl manages the business and clinical operations for Home Instead Senior Care.  As a human services specialist she coordinates a team of professionals to work with clients and family members to develop and manage personalized Plans of Care that help older adults attain their maximum potentials in the place they call home.  Teryl finds this position rewarding because Home Instead Senior Care is able to support clients and families at home while providing meaningful career opportunities to employees.  Teryl is married and has four grown children, a son serving in the U.S. Air Force, two daughters pursuing careers in healthcare, and another daughter who has found a place in the Human Resource Department at Home Instead Senior Care.

Cindy supports our CAREGivers and clients through on-site visits and quality reviews.  She meets with families and potential clients to update and establish new care plans.   Cindy’s primary responsibility is to act as a liaison for clients and their families and CAREGivers ensuring that the needs of all the parties are being correctly addressed.  Cindy states, “Working with seniors and their families is such a great fit for me.  I am very passionate about helping people stay independent and living at home, for as long as possible. I love being able to support the team in achieving compassionate and quality care for our clients. Besides working at Home Instead, I am a devoted mother and wife, I love to travel and to spend as much time outdoors as I can, and I am blessed with supportive family and friends.”

Jeremy Venanzi received his Bachelor of Science degree from Clarion University, with a major in Rehabilitation Sciences and Gerontology and minor in Psychology and Sociology. He brings more than 15 years of experience in serving older adults in a variety of care settings. As a member of the Home Instead Senior Care team, Jeremy reaches out to referral sources in the community marketing Home Instead Senior Care.  He enjoys educating professionals, community members and families on the benefit of receiving care in their own home.   Home Instead Senior Care is able to provide care and support in the least restrictive setting possible.   Jeremy finds his position rewarding because Home Instead Senior Care is able to support clients and their families in their homes where they want to be.  Jeremy lives in Plum Borough with his wife and their two daughters.

Kelly Kelley brings 18 years of experience in serving older adults in a variety of settings.  As a member of the Home Instead Senior Care team, Kelly has found her niche and is primarily responsible to coordinate and schedule the service requests for all of our clients and CAREGivers.  Kelly states, “Scheduling is more that just filling a shift.  I really enjoy coordinating a compatible match that supports the strengths and interests of both our clients and our CAREGivers.  Ultimately my job makes everyone happy; clients, CAREGivers, office staff.  That is a nice feeling.”  As an on call supervisor, Kelly’s understanding of the daily operations helps her to smoothly manage after hour client/CAREGiver issues.  Kelly is a lifelong resident of Turtle Creek.  She enjoys spending time with her three children and two grandchildren.


Marjorie Alexander

Marjorie Alexander

​Marjorie Alexander received her Bachelor of Science degree from Clarion University with a major in Special Education.  She also obtained and associates in Social Work from Community College of Allegheny County.  Marjorie has over 13 years of experience in staffing and recruiting.  She joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2011 as the first Community Recruitment Coordinator.  In this position, Marjorie reaches out to a variety of referral sources in the community to obtain great CAREGivers.  Marjorie enjoys setting up on site interviews with new referral sources and hiring CAREGivers within our territory.  Marjorie lives in Verona and has 2 older children who are currently attending the University of Pittsburgh, in Johnstown, PA.


Kimberly Runk

​Kimberly Runk supports our CAREGivers and clients through on-site visits and quality reviews.  She meets with families and potential clients to update and establish new plans of care.  Kimberly’s primary responsibility is to act as a liaison for clients, their families and CAREGivers ensuring that the needs of all parties are being correctly addressed.  Kimberly is originally outside of Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Pittsburgh in 2012.  Kimberly had a Master’s Degree in Counseling as well as a Master’s Degree in Theology.  Kimberly is passionate about older adults and that they are treated with dignity and respect they deserve.​


Michelle Lee

​Michelle Lee received her Bachelor of Science degree from Slippery Rock University.  She has over 6 years of experience working with older adults.  Michelle is responsible for screening and interviewing potential employees.  She oversees a comprehensive training program and follows our CAREGivers throughout their careers with Home Instead Senior Care.  She organizes on-going trainings, CAREGiver retention events and focus groups.  Her goal is to hire compassionate, reliable and trustworthy CAREGivers to provide outstanding services to older adults in our community.  She is passionate about the work she does and makes sure that our CAREGivers are given the tools and resources they need to be the best at what they do! In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.​


Mary Jo Seifert - On Call Supervisor

Mary Jo Seifert - On Call Supervisor

​Mary Jo has been in the healthcare industry for over 25 years. Currently she works fulltime at UPMC Mercy Pain Management and part time with us as our weekend and evening On Call Supervisor. Mary Jo has 4 children, 3 sons and a daughter. She is a board member on the Ladies Auxiliary of the 5008 East Pittsburgh VFW. She is a licensed beautician for over 35 years, who also has a small business called “Beauty On The Go” that goes to the homebound to do their hair. Mary Jo has lived in the Turtle Creek area for the last 25+ years and has been involved in various community & church activities throughout that time. Mary Jo has a camp in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania that is her relaxing getaway in the summertime, which she enjoys going to relax and spend time with family and friends.
