was JoAnn Speicher, Frank Speicher and Jennifer Moyer's own experience
caring for JoAnn's mother that brought them to the Home Instead Senior
Care solution. In 2003, JoAnn's mother needed help to remain
independent in her home. The family had many questions, but no source
for answers . . .what to do? Well, the journey took the family through
many turns and false starts. There seemed to be no informational
resource available to guide the journey. Then, they heard about Home
Instead Senior Care. In partnership with a local Home Instead Senior
Care office, the family received the perfect answer to their needs.
More importantly, JoAnn's mother met her life goals of remaining
independent and in her home. Realizing that there were other families
like theirs that needed help to keep their loved ones safely living at
home, they began devoting themselves to making quality home care
available throughout Berks County in 2004. It’s what they know and
love, and their services allow them to make a real difference to the
community. "Making a quality difference in the lives of others. . ." Yes, to us it's personal!

Jen is dedicated to quality of care for the Seniors of Berks County. As
an owner of the company, Jen works tirelessly on behalf of clients.
Jen oversees the day-to-day operations of the company. Jen provides
free assessments to clients and believes in providing information to
seniors and their families allows them to make educated choices
regarding their care. "Seniors and their family members
have a right to know how to meet their specific needs. Home Instead

JoAnn's heart is for the people. JoAnn wanted to "Make a quality difference in the lives of others."
JoAnn saw first hand the value of caring relationships when her mother
needed care. As she watched the caring relationship grow between her
mother and the Home Instead CAREGiver, she became convinced that she
wanted to be a part of this mission of love. She wanted all Seniors to
know the joy she and her mother experienced. So, along with Jen and her

Frank Speicher provides business management expertise to Home Instead Senior Care. In the early years of HISC, Frank provided frontline care giving services to clients. Together, JoAnn, Jen, and Frank work to provide excellence in care.
Cathy has been with Home Instead Senior Care (HISC) since 2005 as Client
care coordinator. she has an extensive background in rehabilitation
care and specialized transportation that spans more than 30 years. At
HISC, Cathy is responsible for client care, performing client
assessments, quality assurance visits and coordinating care with
CAREGivers and Clients. Cathy maintains daily communications with
clients and CAREGivers to ensure that the highest level of service is

Kim joined HISC in 2011 as a CAREGiver and was recently promoted to Recruitment and Retention Coordinator. Kim is responsible for recruiting and retaining CAREGiver staff, processing employment inquiries, maintaining required employment screenings, securing daily CAREGiver coverage for Clients and processing payroll.
Anyone who has called the Home Instead Senior Care office knows the friendly voice of Jeanette who serves as Administrative Assistant and Receptionist. She has been with our team for almost four years and provides various levels of support for Human Resources. Jeanette maintains all office files, tracks CAREGiver compliance and orchestrates the preparation and planning for all In-Service meetings.
