As our Service Coordinator, Beth understands how to create an "incredible match" between a client and CAREGiver. She continuously maintains close contact with clients, family members and CAREGivers to build a customized schedule that works for everyone. As the needs of a client change, Beth is quick to determine the right pieces to make an exceptional solution. Her attention to detail and desire to attain client satisfaction is what builds a schedule you can be confident about. Beth also monitors our convenient and trusted CAREGiver call in and out system which is the key to our accurate billing process.
Marie began working with Home Instead as a CAREGiver in 2009. With her CNA background, she began assisting with our personal care training for our CAREGivers in 2013, and then joined our office team as a Service Coordinator in 2014. Marie is responsible for scheduling CAREGivers to work with our client schedules and finding solutions for our clients' concerns. She is dedicated to her work and takes great pride knowing she impacts the lives of both our clients and CAREGivers. Assisting in a number of roles in our Home Instead operation, she is an ideal fit as Service Coordinator.
Marie grew up in Ladd. She and husband Dave, have two children, Anna and Arthur. Marie enjoys spending time with her family and her Grandmother, for whom she is a family caregiver.
Marie knew at a very young age she was drawn to seniors and wanted to help them. "When visiting with my Grandmother, I would sit with her and her friends, play games, and keep them company. I have been told, I am an 'old soul'. I love to take care of people, it's what I do." One of Marie's fondest memories as a Home Instead CAREGiver, was having a retired Home Economics teacher as a client. This client had dementia and Marie would play the role of a student when they spent their time together. They would cook, bake, iron, and look up recipes. Marie smiled and said, "that's what she wanted to do and it made her happy, so I did it. The way I look at it, you should treat others the same way you would want to be treated. So for me, it's always personal."
Gail joined Home Instead Senior Care in January 2009 as a CAREGiver and in August 2012 as our Client Care Coordinator. Her experience as a CAREGiver and working directly with clients gives her a clear understanding of the needs of our clients, their families and our CAREGivers. Gail coordinates care for our clients and has regular contact with them through quality assurance home visits. She enjoys building a relationship with our clients and their family to make sure all of their needs are met.
Debra started with Home Instead Senior Care in December 2013 as a CAREGiver and joined the office team as a Client Care Coordinator in February 2016. She is responsible for helping clients and families determine their care needs, and manage the services provided to them by our CAREGivers. Deb's main focus is ensuring that our clients' needs are met, and the client and CAREGiver are developing a positive relationship.
Married to her husband Jim they share a love for their yellow lab, Sammy. Deb was raised in Cherry, but moved away for 20 years until 2011 when she was called home to care for her Dad with cancer. She always knew she was meant to live in this area and wanted to give back to her community. Deb's inner passion is to help others. Deb enjoys spending time with her husband and family, and her favorite pastimes include walking and scrapbooking.
Deb started caregiving when she was 10 years old for an elderly neighbor woman named Toots. Toots was afraid of thunderstorms and became very anxious during a storm. Deb took the initiative to care for her and would promote a return to tranquility. For Deb, this was her starting point of a much larger calling. "To us, it's personal' relates to me on a personal level. Being a family caregiver for my Dad, I am compassionate and realize the daily struggles that our clients' families face, but also how comforting it can be to accept help from other people that care."
We welcomed Sarah to our Home Instead Senior Care team in 2015 as a Home Care Consultant. Sarah's primary focus is community education and building relationships out in the community with our colleagues that have reason to refer families to our services, such as hospitals and rehab facilities. Sarah also manages the care for some of our clients as well as contributing to the training that we provide to our CAREGivers.
Sarah and her husband Ted raised their two sons, Ben and Spencer. They also have two dogs they adore, Geppetto and Baxter. Sarah was raised in a musical family and remains a big influence in her life. Sarah enjoys caring for her elderly parents with the help of her sister, Emily. Sarah completed her Master's Degree in researching the importance of diet, exercise and stress reduction in elderly women. "I have always wanted to help people. My current life experience with my parents, and my previous work experience overseeing a Mobile Meals program, are both helpful in my current position." Sarah held the position of Executive Director of the Illinois Valley American Red Cross for 14 years before joining our Home Instead office.
"My parents received Home Instead services for over 4 years. They started out with a couple of days per week and ended up receiving 8 hours of care per day. So many CAREGiver's touched their lives as well as my life, and my sister's. We were very lucky to have the help, support and the caring spirit of some amazing women."

Jenn is the newest addition to our team in Peru, as a Home Care Consultant and Project Manager. She is responsible for managing our satellite office in Morris, out of which we manage the care for our clients in Grundy County. Jenn's primary focus is building relationships out in the community, discovery where lie the needs for senior home care services, and educating on the options available.
Jenn and her husband Scott, both raised in Morris, agreed this would be an ideal place to start a family. Together they have two wonderful children and two dogs that fill her life with joy. Aside from her family, Jenn enjoys volunteering, the outdoors, music and arts. Prior to joining the team at Home Instead Senior Care, Jenn stayed home with her two children and provided additional care for her daughter that was diagnosed with a severe form of Epilepsy. This experience led her appreciate the need for an extra set of hands, someone dedicated to providing care and compassion, and a little help with daily routine. "The sort of service we provide for our seniors", Jenn expressed. "I struggled as a young mom, juggling weekly specialist visits, learning how to cope with our daughter's seizures and diagnosis, it was difficult and overwhelming. I wanted to enjoy the small things in life, but had big obstacles in my way. I knew I wanted to help other families that face this crossroad in life, to lend an ear, and express to family caregivers, that they are not alone, and we are here to help."
Jenn said 'to us, it's personal', conveys that we each have a time in our life when we are faced with unforeseen events that ultimately change who we are, whether it be a child, spouse, parent, senior or loved one. It is my promise to take your story personal, as if it were my own, and provide the utmost care for your senior. I will treat your family as if it were mine. My focus is to be able to give back, work from the heart, and offer my best to my community of seniors, our CAREGivers, and my colleagues. I am honored to be part of Home Instead Senior Care and am blessed that our paths crossed."
Maggie joined our office as Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator in 2016. She manages our recruitment efforts to attract applicants to our CAREGiver position and then conducts our CAREGiver applicant hiring process, including interviews and background screening. Maggie is responsible for the orientation and training of our newly hired CAREGivers. "My goal is to hire the CAREGivers that will be best suited to fill the needs of our clients," she stated.
Maggie is a proud mom to her daughter Hailey. This fall Hailey transferred to Eastern Illinois University. Apart from spending time with her family and friends, she enjoys the outdoors. Maggie is the youngest sibling in her family and follows a long list of people who care for others. Her mom was a nurse, two sisters are RNs, a sister that is a pharmacist, along with her brother and her Dad who was a farmer.
From a young age Maggie was taught the value of helping others and hard work. "My inspiration derives from my parents and how I was raised. My mom gave so much to this world as a nurse before she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. My siblings and I were fortunate enough to care for her for over 3 years. It was then, I realized I was meant to follow in her footsteps. I have a true appreciation and love for others and I thank her for exposing this passion I have. I hope to pass down my love of others, to my daughter, as my Mom did for me."

Anne started with the Peru Home Instead Senior Care in 2014 as a Project Manager and is a key participant in our administrative support. Her diligent work efforts and gentle inner nature offer a great deal to our team. Anne assists with various projects in the office and for our franchise owner. She also processes client billing, CAREGiver payroll, and fields phone calls.
Prior to her employment with Home Instead Senior Care, Anne was an administrative assistant at a library and worked in the restaurant industry for 20 + years. Anne takes pleasure in staying in contact with her large family, nurturing her personal friendships and spending time with her two senior dogs, Binx and Kirby. To Anne, remaining health conscious is a main priority in her life. She enjoys cooking, eating healthy, and practices yoga in her free time.
With Anne actively involved in so many aspects of Home Instead Senior Care operation she states, "I see on a daily basis the efforts and dedication my co-workers in the office possess. Our clients are well cared for and in turn this makes a difference in their lives. Our CAREGivers are also well supported through our office so they are better able to help our clients. It's a strong circle, of care and compassion, that make it work so well, together." Anne remarks, "Our motto 'to us, it's personal' reflects on taking consideration for every situation when working with our clients and CAREGivers in order to arrive at the best outcome possible."
