Seniors hold a special place in Heidi Couto’s heart. Serving as a caregiver for her grandparents lead her to joining the Home Instead Senior Care Shelby Township CAREGiver team in 2013. From there, she moved to her current position as bookkeeper – handling billing, payroll, accounts receivable and more for the office. Heidi is also the mother of two boys who keep her moving; camping, snowmobiling and hanging out together are their favorite activities.
The pleasant voice on the phone and smiling face you see when you visit the Home Instead Senior Care Shelby Township office is Cara Saier, our office coordinator. She began working for Home Instead in January of 2014 as a CAREGiver. The lifetime of wonderful and fascinating stories that seniors share is what fuels Cara's passion for helping them. Outside of the office, you'll find her playing with her two kids and sneaking in some time reading a good book.

Victoria finds the challenge of being the servicecoordinator enjoyable. With our average of 300 clients at any one time, she must schedule CAREGivers for each need that arises. She was inspired by working with seniors in her prior career as a stylist, and saw the opportunity to really help them in their lives as a natural fit.
Deborah has worked as a nurse for many years. She has one child and very much enjoys working with the senior population.
"I am continually struck by the professionalism, high level of caring and exemplary caregivers that I have met from Home Instead. My mom couldn't live without them, and neither could I.
