Angela joined the Home Instead team in August 2017. Her move to Home Instead fulfilled one of her passions, helping others. Most of her working career, she has worked in Human Resources, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service. Angela’s step-father died at home from ALS. His wish was to stay at home until his death and his family honored that request. She helped her Mother care for her step-father as much as possible. This experience was a great inspiration towards Angela joining the Home Instead team. This is when she realized she wanted to apply her wealth of knowledge and work experience towards helping other people to live their remaining years at home. Angela is the Recruitment and Enrichment Coordinator for the office. She follows CAREGivers through the hiring process and then works with them throughout their Home Instead career making sure their lives, as well as the lives of the clients, are enriched.Angela and her husband, Robert, have four Shih Tzu fur babies at home and two grown Sons outside of the home. Angela’s passion to help others is not just for People. She also is passionate in helping animals. She is a Certified Dog Trainer who volunteers her time at no-kill animal shelters to train dogs to make them more adoptable. In her spare time, she also enjoys water activities, walking, biking, spoiling her Grandchildren, doing crafts and working with her flowers.
"I am continually struck by the professionalism, high level of caring and exemplary caregivers that I have met from Home Instead. My mom couldn't live without them, and neither could I.
