FULL TIME CAREGiver Position

The Guaranteed Hours CAREGiver position is a unique position that Home Instead Senior Care is excited to offer to our staff. CAREGivers will be guaranteed hours based on their ability to meet and maintain certain Eligibility and Availability requirements.



There are many benefits offered with this position to the CAREGiver, including:

  • Guaranteed Hours
    • This position guarantees that you will be paid for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
  • Guaranteed Wage
    • All Guaranteed Hours will be paid to you at a rate of $15 per hour.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and Sick Leave
    • You will accrue 5 days of paid PTO/sick leave time per year (approximately 1.53 hours per pay period)
  • Weekly Schedule
    • Receive your schedule on a weekly basis from the Client Services Department
    • Time off requests need to be turned in to Jennifer at least 14 days in advance


Eligibility Requirements

In order to be eligible for this position, you must agree to the following requirements:

  • Must be trained and willing to provide all types of services that a client may require, including home management tasks, personal care tasks, and comprehensive tasks (i.e. TED hose, catheter care, gait belt, EZ stand, etc.)
  • Must be willing to work with all types of clients, including males, females, couples/spouses, and clients that might have special circumstances or exhibit challenging behaviors (such as with diseases like Alzheimer’s or dementia). 
  • Must be willing to drive to serve a client in any part of our service territory (no exceptions).
  • Must be available for certain specific days and hours (see Availability Commitment)

Availability Commitment

In order to be eligible for this position, you must commit to being available for at least 3 weekdays (Monday – Friday) and 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) for the following time-frames:

from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM               OR         
from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Due to the unique nature of this position, you are only able to change your Availability once every 90 days. Any Availability change must be relayed in writing to the Client Services Department at least 30 days prior to the start of the change.
