Jo has been with the Burnsville Home Instead Senior Care office since
December 2005. As a retired Army Veteran, Mary Jo is very organized and

Melissa lives with her husband and 3 kids in Apple Valley, MN. Family is

started at Home Instead Senior Care as a “CAREGiver” in 2009 and moved
into the “Client Care Coordinator” position in June 2012.
Janet worked in customer service in the airline industry for 20 plus
years but found her true passion after caring for her brother during his
three year battle with cancer. During this time, she saw firsthand the
difference compassion made, the importance of receiving the very best
care and the joy associated with being able to maintain independence.
Janet takes this experience and brings it to all of her interactions
with seniors. “ I love my job—I love the close client relationships I
make and helping seniors stay independent while ensuring all of their
needs are met. I am blessed to work with so many wonderful people.”
Jonathan started with Burnsville Home Instead Senior Care in February of 2014 as the Director of Human Resources. He
understands the importance of senior home care, watching this
grandfather take care of his grandmother in their home and then watching
his grandfather through a slow decline with ALS in a nursing home. “I
understand how a personal touch can make all the difference in a
person’s life when their needs are met with compassion and empathy.”
Before working with Home Instead Senior Care Jonathan worked with the VA
Medical Center and Department of Education. Jonathan’s Education
includes a bachelor’s degree from Bethel University. He is an active
member of his church where he serves as a leader of their youth group.
He enjoys most outdoor sports activities, camping and kayaking.
Sue has been a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care since
2013, but has cared for seniors since way back in High School. Prior to taking
on the role of the On-Call Supervisor, Sue was a Top Notch CAREGiver in high
demand with any Client that she was assigned to. She has worked as a CNA in her
youth and took care of her own Grandma, and realized that she had a passion for
caring for people, especially seniors. After doing home childcare for 30 years
Sue came to Home Instead to follow her passion of caring for seniors, realizing
that it’s the little things that make such a big difference in a Clients day.
