Jim and Mary Sukiennik, Owners

Jim and Mary Sukiennik, Owners

Jim and Mary Sukiennik have been the proud owners of the local Home Instead Senior Care office serving the Mississippi Gulf Coast since February, 2003.

 

Jim Sukiennik grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of West Alabama. After a long career as a controller and Chief Financial Officer for several firms, Jim is using his business skills and appreciation for seniors to provide services to keep them safely at home, where they want to be. When not working, Jim enjoys golfing, kayaking, and spending time with his family.

 

Mary, an Alabama native, graduated from the University of Alabama before going to work as a social worker for many years. After moving to the Coast in 1991, Mary stayed at home with their children, Kait and Matt, until she and Jim opened their Home Instead Senior Care office. Mary also enjoys reading, baking, playing tennis, and spending time with her family.

 

Both Jim and Mary have been family caregivers for their mothers, who had Alzheimer's Disease. "I assisted with my mother's care as her disease progressed from slight cognitive impairment to the final stages of Alzheimer's, and during that time she was able to stay at home as she wanted to do", said Jim. They understand both the desire that seniors have for living at home as long as possible and the need for additional services to make that possible. They have both worked hard over the years to provide their clients with the highest level of non-medical care.​​


Kelli McCarthy-Ratcliff, Human Resources

Kelli McCarthy-Ratcliff, Human Resources

Kelli joined the team at Home Instead Senior Care in March of 2013. She has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of Human Resources to include recruiting, employee relations and training.  She studied at Tulane University in Biloxi, MS for Human Resources and has had many hours of Employment Law related seminars.  Her focus is to obtain the best qualified CAREGivers and to match their talents with the needs of our seniors.  Kelli will be conducting orientation and implementing training classes to ensure our seniors have the best possible care.  She will also be assisting in scheduling our CAREGivers for shifts and other needs as they may arise. 

 

Kelli is from Biloxi, MS.  She is married to Chris and has two children, Alexandria and Zachary and two grandsons, Jaxon and Couper.  When Kelli is not recruiting or training, she enjoys boating, jeeping and spending time with her family and friends.​​​​​


Jeneen Beard, Client/Caregiver Liaison

Jeneen joined the team at Home Instead Senior Care in March of 2015. She has over 10 years of experience in all aspects of Office Management/Executive Assistant to include employee schedules, accounting, training, data processing, and maintaining updated information.  She studied at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Biloxi, MS for Business Management and has had many hours of Office Management related seminars. Her focus is to help maintain a professional atmosphere within the office. She will also be assisting in scheduling our CAREGivers for shifts along with billing and other needs as they may arise. 

Jeneen is from Pass Christian, MS.  She is the mother of one child, Jenson.  When Jeneen is not working in the office she stays busy with her Cosmetology license, boating, outdoor activities, and supporting her son in sports.


Louise Wheat, Client Care Coordinator, RN

Louise Wheat, Client Care Coordinator, RN

Louise, who has more than 30 years of nursing experience, specifically in the Home Health Industry, joined the Home Instead Senior Care team in December 2015.  Louise graduated from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing.   She has always loved assisting seniors and is looking forward to working with the team to improve the lives of our senior clients.  She is excited about providing the best care to our clients in the community. 

 

She is originally from New Orleans, LA but came to the Gulf Coast at an early age with her family and loved it from day one. 

 

Currently, she lives in Gulfport, MS with her husband and enjoys spending time with their 3 children and 3 grandchildren, Kylie, Macie and Every.   She loves to sew and crochet.  ​


Christina Hutton, Service Coordinator

Christina Hutton, Service Coordinator

Christina joined the team at Home Instead Senior Care in July 2017.  Using her previous scheduling experience and over 7 years of administrative office experience, Christina will be scheduling for our CAREGivers and clients.  Her goal is to provide excellent customer service and make sure our clients are satisfied with the care they receive from our CAREGivers. 

 

Christina is a Gulfport native.  When she isn't working, or studying, she enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and traveling.  Christina is also pursuing a degree in Finance and Accounting at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.



Lauranne Tomaszewski, Home Care Consultant

Lauranne Tomaszewski, Home Care Consultant

Lauranne joined the Home Instead Senior Care team in May of 2018. She has over 15 years of business development, sales and marketing experience. She is a graduate of Delta State University in Cleveland, MS with a Bachelors in Business Administration in Marketing. Her primary role is developing and enhancing relationships in the community with hospitals, home health companies, hospice companies, physicians, nursing facilities and assisted living facilities. She develops and promotes community relations programs and events which demonstrate Home Instead Senior Care's commitment to our mission to provide compassionate care and inspiration to local seniors so they may live safely at home. 

 

Lauranne is originally from the Mississippi Delta, but has called Ocean Springs, MS home for over 12 years. She is married to Steven and they have 2 sons, Vance & Thad. 



Jessica Nelson, Service Coordinator

Jessica joined Home Instead Senior Care in February 2017 as Service Coordinator.  She has over 8 years of experience in medical and legal offices.  She will be scheduling our CAREGivers to fit the needs of our Clients, along with other clerical needs.  It gives Jessica great joy to provide our clients with caring, trustworthy CAREGivers. 

When Jessica is not working with our Clients and Caregivers, she enjoys spending time boating with her husband, Brad and family and friends.  They both enjoy keeping fit and being active throughout the community.   



Kaylene Lutz, Client Care Coordinator, RN

Kaylene Lutz, Client Care Coordinator, RN

Kaylene joined the team at Home Instead Senior Care in January 2018.   A graduate of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing, Kaylene has 21 years of nursing experience, specifically in hospice care and nursing management.  Her focus is providing the best quality of care for seniors in the community.

Kaylene works closely with the clients, as well as their families, to prepare a plan of care tailored to the specific needs of the clients. She will also be conducting a variety of specialty training classes for our CAREGivers to include personal care training, dementia training, and hospice care to equip them with the knowledge they need to give the appropriate care to our clients.  

Currently, Kaylene lives in Ocean Springs, MS with her husband Al.  She enjoys boating, swimming, and being active in the community



Chad Wade, General Manager

Chad Wade, General Manager

Chad joined the team at Home Instead Senior Care in August 2018. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from William Carey University where he was awarded a soccer scholarship. He has many years of Banking/Finance experience as well as over 15 years of Management experience. His primary responsibility is to provide Leadership and Management of all Home Instead departments such as Finance, Staffing, Human Resources, Client Services, and Home Care Sales which impacts the overall growth and development of the business.  

He has worked with many different Non-profit Organizations in many different capacities, from Volunteer to Executive Board Member, here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He stays active in the Community by Coaching Youth Little League Baseball and Coaching Youth Soccer.    

He is a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs, MS. He is married to his beautiful wife Tammy and together they have three beautiful children; Cannon, Reis, and Lucy. His love is for his children, family, community, and God. His passions include coaching sports, the outdoors, fishing, traveling, boating, and the beach.

His mission is to help serve our local seniors with "Compassion, Dignity, and Respect."
