"I am continually struck by the professionalism, high level of caring and exemplary caregivers that I have met from Home Instead. My mom couldn't live without them, and neither could I.
Melissa was drawn to the Home Instead Senior Care team through her passion for working with seniors. She has always known that she wanted to work with the senior population. Her favorite part about working at Home Instead is knowing that she is making a difference and improving the quality of life of local seniors in her community. Melissa attended Ohio University and received her Bachelor of Science with a focus in Exercise Physiology. After graduating, she moved back to Columbus and began her journey with Home Instead. In her role, she onboards clients, works with the family to create a care plan, keeps touch points with all parties involved in the care plan and does quality assurance through home visits and phone calls. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Sunday dinners with her family, and sailing when the weather is nice.
Steve is a graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Education. After graduating from Ohio University, Steve worked in post-secondary textbook publishing for over twenty-five years. He worked with professors and instructors from Private Colleges, Universities and Medical Colleges. What Steve enjoyed the most was that fact that the educational materials that he was representing helped students improve their lives and helped them to better their future. He earned various awards including The Soaring Eagle and A Presidential Corporate Achievement Award; both of which are awarded for Sales Excellence. Steve has been a part of the Home Instead team for three years. He feels proud that Home Instead is in the business of helping people stay in their homes safely and allows them to maintain an independent life style.

Michelle's passion for helping others is what attracted her to Home Instead Senior Care. She is originally from the Cleveland, OH area and will forever support all Cleveland sports teams. Michelle graduated from Bowling Green State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts and Communication, with a career focus in Social Service. Following her graduation, she moved to Brooklyn, NY where she worked for a non-profit rebuilding homes that were destroyed in hurricane Sandy. Once she completed her term, she then moved to Columbus, OH where she worked in direct sales and marketing for a couple of years. Because she wanted to work for a company that makes a difference, she then decided to take on something new and found Home Instead Senior Care. She was instantly attracted to the company's mission to enhance lives- not only the lives of the clients and families, but the local community as well. One of her favorite things about working at Home Instead is the team-based atmosphere and the positive impact they all create.
In three months, marks Vicki’s third year working at Home Instead Senior Care. As the CAREGiver Empowerment Coordinator, Vicki’s in charge of making sure all CAREGivers are following protocol and the plan of care, doing CAREGiver introductions and inspiring our CAREGivers to grow within their field. She is currently attending Daymar College to become a Medical Assistant and is a mother to her two grown sons. One of her favorite things about working at Home Instead is getting the opportunity to meet with her clients and hear about their stories from the past. She loves learning about who they are and where they come from; along with seeing how the world has changed from their perspective. Vicki is very creative and loves to paint, draw and do crafts; especially with her clients. Vicki’s kind heart and hard work makes for a great addition to the Home Instead team.
