Personality disorders can have a profound effect on both the person living with the condition, as well as those caring for them, and they are often marked by patterns of behavior that can disrupt their quality of life. It is critical for caregivers to understand their loved one’s diagnosis and the potential related concerns. The American Psychiatric Association recognizes ten specific personality disorders - including Paranoid, Antisocial, and Narcissistic - each with their own unique, challenging, and often misunderstood characteristics. Join us to learn more about breaking down and understanding these complex conditions and recognizing how to deal with your loved one’s personality.
