More than 1/3 of all medications in the United States are prescribed to seniors, and adverse events related to medications send as many as 100,000 seniors to the hospital each year. With prescription drug use on the rise across the country, seniors are increasingly vulnerable to both misuse and abuse. Join us to learn more about drug misuse in the senior population, common signs to look out for, and what you can do if you suspect a senior loved one is misusing prescribed medications.

Gary Davis is the Business Development Manager and Military Services Liaison at The Pavilion at Williamsburg Place and The Farley Center. He retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 22 years of service, and his previous military treatment facility roles include Quality Assurance Coordinator, Budget Analyst, Personnel and Facility Management.
