At Your Service 24/7 in State College, PA

Ron and Christine Krasnansky opened their first Home Instead Senior Care office in State College in 2002. A year later they opened a second office in nearby Saxton.

Ron impacts the community through his efforts to improve the quality of life for senior adults as they age. The quality standards of Home Instead Senior Care are recognized nationwide and the local offices set the Standards of Excellence in the industry. All of the State College and Saxton CAREGiver staff are continually educated, trained, and screened through many background checks. In requiring this level of quality, Ron and Christine allow thousands of seniors and their families in the local area to enjoy peace of mind, independence, and dignity. Ron is a hands-on owner with an exemplary caring spirit. He is committed to improving the lives of Central Pennsylvania's seniors.
Currently, the State College team provides home care in Centre, Clearfield, and Mifflin/Juniata counties. The team at the Saxton office provides home care service to Huntingdon, Fulton and Bedford counties.

Ron and Christine Krasnansky both graduated from Penn State University. As co-owners of these two franchises they share a deep commitment to providing excellent homecare and to fullfilling our mission:

Amy Williamson, R.N. - Director, Client Experience

Amy Williamson, R.N. - Director, Client Experience

Amy has been our Director of Client Experience for fourteen years. She came to us with almost fifteen years of experience as a visiting nurse. Amy is responsible for supervising the function of all client scheduling as well as overseeing assignments of new clients and ongoing quality assurance. She is an important link to our client's and their famili​es as we develop and maintain their ongoing needs and ability to age in place. Amy works very closely with service coordinators from Veteran's Affairs and the Area Agency on Aging to provide adequate services to those in need.


Michelle Grove - Director, HR & Finance

Michelle Grove - Director, HR & Finance

Michelle is our Director of Human Resources and Finance. Michelle handles all client billing and is responsible for payroll, unemployment, worker's compensation claims and employee benefits.  She also handles all general Human Resources concerns including employment verifications and references. Michelle has been with Home Instead Senior Care since July 2004.


Dana Romanini - Director, CAREGiver Experience

Dana Romanini - Director, CAREGiver Experience

Dana is our Director of CAREGiver Experience.  She is responsible for ensuring the needs of the CAREGivers are met, and develops and maintains a workplace culture that retains quality CAREGivers.  Dana is also responsible for building community awareness of open CAREGiver jobs  while overseeing our Recruitment and Learning and Development teams.​ If you know of anyone interested in becoming a CAREGiver, please contact Dana today.​  dana.romanini@homeinstead.com​​​​


Caryl Byrne, R.N.-Client Care Coordinator

Caryl Byrne, R.N.-Client Care Coordinator

Caryl schedules regular quality assurance visits at our client's homes.  She ensures that services are meeting our client's needs by evaluating changes in condition and updating client care plans.  Caryl acts as a liaison for the client, their families and CAREGivers to coordinate all aspects of the client's services.  The Client Care Coordinator's role strongly integrates appropriate recommendations to encourage and support our client's wishes to remain at home. 


Whitney Peters - Client Care Coordinator

Whitney Peters - Client Care Coordinator

Whitney, formerly one of our CAREGiver Supervisors, is now one of our Client Care Coordinators. She schedules regular quality assurance visits at our client's homes.  Whitney also ensures that services are meeting our client's needs by evaluating changes in condition and updating client care plans.  She acts as a liaison for the client, their families and CAREGivers to coordinate all aspects of the client's services.  The Client Care Coordinator's role strongly integrates appropriate recommendations to encourage and support our client's wishes to remain at home. 


Denise Martin - Home Care Consultant

Denise Martin - Home Care Consultant

As our Home Care Consultant, Denise meets with clients and their families that are interested in home care to discuss ways that our services can help them age in place. Her role includes completing in-home care consultations to help determine how home care can best fit their needs. She is also active in the community building relationships so that we can be a resource to any senior in our community!


Ashlee Daly- Community Recruitment Coordinator

Ashlee Daly- Community Recruitment Coordinator
Ashlee​ is responsible for building community awareness of open​ CAREGiver jobs, and finding quality candidates to join our team​.  Ashlee is active in our CAREGiver recruitment events and the CAREGiver Ambassador Program. Harley Yoder- Recruitment Coordinator

Harley Yoder- Recruitment Coordinator

Harley is responsible for hiring CAREGivers.  She is the friendly face that conducts our interviews with our CAREGiver applicants. Harley is also responsible for the completion of all pre-screening of applicants and gathering all background information, as well as reference checks.  Are you interested in becoming a CAREGiver? Jessica Everly - Learning and Development Coordinator/CAREGiver Supervisor

Jessica Everly - Learning and Development Coordinator/CAREGiver Supervisor
Jessica comes to Home Instead Senior Care with several years of healthcare experience. She is the CAREGiver supervisor to our entire CAREGiver Team. Jessica conducts new CAREGiver orientations and all CAREGiver trainings. She motivates and inspires our CAREGiver workforce and develops and tracks retention strategies.  Jessica creates and implements CAREGiver meetings and celebrations throughout the year. 



Dani Schiesler - Client Care Assistant (CCA)

Dani Schiesler - Client Care Assistant (CCA)

​Dani is responsible for encouraging reliable, consistent, and quality care for our clients through our CAREGivers. Dani provides training, support and mentoring to our CAREGivers in the client's home.   She will mentor and follow up with all new CAREGivers for their first 90 days with Home Instead.  Dani was a Home Instead Senior Care CAREGiver, before transitioning to our Recruitment Coordinator, and now Client Care Assistant. 


Rachel Packer-HR & Finance Coordinator

Rachel Packer-HR & Finance Coordinator

Rachel is responsible for a variety of HR/Finance functions including payroll and billing, finalizing CAREGiver shifts and our Long Term Care & Veteran's Affairs documentation.  She also assists in duties to ensure that our CAREGiver staff are all within state compliance.

Jenna is part of our Service Coordination team.  She oversees the communication of scheduling changes and updates to clients and CAREGivers as they occur. She also coordinates services with Waiver Service Coordinators as well as the Veteran's Administration.  She provides accurate client information with new CAREGiver assignments resulting in quality service.  Service Coordination plays a vital role in all of our scheduling needs.

Morgan Damicantonio - Office Coordinator

Morgan Damicantonio - Office Coordinator

Morgan is likely to be the first phone voice of Home Instead Senior Care. She assists in directing all callers to the appropriate department to allow for the highest quality of service to clients and CAREGiver's. She oversees many operational duties of the office and provides support to all departments. As the front end leader, the Office Coordinator is always meeting those walking through our doors with a smiling face!​


On Call Coordinators

These are the friendly voices you will hear after business hours for both the State College and Saxton offices. They are fully trained to ensure that your needs are met outside of normal business hours.  They can assist you with scheduling needs, CAREGiver and Client issues, service inquiries, CAREGiver inquiries and any emergencies that should arise.  Our phones are answered 24 hours a day.
