Leanda is our Office Coordinator. In this role she is
responsible for answering phones and directing the calls to the appropriate
staff. She enjoys the many tasks such as completing the monthly Newsletter for
our Clients and CAREGivers, Cards, assisting with accounts receivables, mailing
Invoices and fax billing. She also helps the staff where needed. She is a
native of NC, and has her Credentials in Early Childhood Development. Leanda
has worked with children for over 20 years.
She comes to Home Instead Senior Care
from WSFirst where she worked for over 23 years. On a personal note she has two daughters and 4
grandchildren that she adores with all her heart! She is excited and loves
working for Home Instead Senior Care Services and considers it a blessing from God
to be able to serve seniors of Forsyth County.
Leanda started her career with Home Instead Senior Care as a CAREGiver.
Shantelle is the Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator. In this role she is responsible for recruiting, screening, hiring and retaining the CAREGivers at Home Instead Senior Care. She is a native of NC where she has spent the majority of her life. Shantelle has worked in some sort of Health Care the majority of her adult career. Most recently she came to Home Instead Senior Care from Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region. While at Hospice she worked with families when their loved ones became imminent and nearing end of life. In this role Shantelle staffed Nurses and CNA's around the clock until they expired. "This was such a rewarding job and I assure you we received as Hospice employees much more than we ever gave to the families".
On a personal note, Shantelle and her husband adopted their precious son in December 2009 when he was 2 years of age. They were also Foster Parents for more than 5 years and Shantelle served on the board of the Guardian Ad Litem for Mecklenburg County and was an advocate for the children with DSS.
As our Registered Nurse, Diana performs Quality Assurance visits, assessing the personal satisfaction of each client. As a client decides to join our franchise, she evaluates and determines their services needed and preferred through the writing of a "Plan of Care;" through this visit, each CAREGiver that is chosen to serve the client will be properly and fully informed on how to do so. Diana also equips each CAREGiver with Personal Care training. With her kindness and patience in stow, Diana brings joy to each visit she makes.
