We have a variety of shifts available: mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights and weekends. 

Home Instead Senior Care provides non-medical services such as:

  • Companionship and conversation
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and errands
  • Assistance with grooming and bathing
  • Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
  • Alzheimer’s Care (With specialized training-provided)

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week
  • Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
  • Provide 3 professional and 3 personal references

Weekend caregiver

Job Details

If you are having trouble making ends meet and you're considering a part-time job to help make that happen, it's time you contact Home Instead Senior Care.  We are currently looking for caring and compassionate people to work as a part-time caregiver on the weekends. Starting salary $11-11.50/hour.

Home Care Consultant - Sales Representative

Job Details

Home Instead Senior Care is seeking a Home Care Consultant - Sales Representative (HCC) for our Racine Office.  This person is focused on generating client referrals by visiting hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, hospice, funeral homes, etc. The HCC reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with all team members at the branch.
This position is anticipated to start on August 1, 2020.

As the face of Home Instead in the community, this team member must demonstrate our core value, Love (v.), in all interactions with internal and external customers and staff:  patience, kindness, humility, selflessness, respectfulness, forgiveness, honesty and commitment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research and develop client relationships and produce referrals. Perform all phases of the sales process, including preparation and documentation of follow-up calls, recommendation of appropriate Home Instead services and additional community resources, maintaining and nurturing existing referral accounts, including follow-up, as necessary.
  • Meet with potential clients and family members to discuss their needs and provide solutions in the form of service plans
  • Conduct service inquiries and care consultations as needed following the consultative sales process
  • Maintain ongoing communication and consistent follow-up schedule with potential clients and families who have yet to commit to service
  • Plan and execute a schedule that ensures each client has, as required, one quality assurance visit per (month/quarter)
  • Recognize and pursue opportunities to modify service plans to best support the ongoing needs of clients through a quality assurance program
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with clients, family members, the franchise owner, colleagues and CAREGivers, and referral providers/care providers
  • Work with clients and their families on the various issues that may arise to ensure they are getting resolution to issues as well as receiving the services needed
  • Achieve inquiry generation objectives with the primary goal of bringing in new business to increase overall market share
  • When required, utilize ClearCare tasks to ensure prompt and quality follow-up of inquiries with or without scheduled consults
  • In conjunction with Home Instead leadership, develop sales and marketing plans, detailing weekly and monthly activities focused on meeting or exceeding established goals
  • Effectively present Home Instead marketing materials and services to referral providers including 1:1 meetings, as well as planning, arranging and conducting formal group presentations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls; presentations; closed sales; and follow-up activities, including the use of software to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential
  • Work with team members to coordinate various aspects of a client’s care
  • Recognize referral providers when they refer clients to Home Instead

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Home Instead Senior Care is seeking a Recruitment and Engagement Manager (REM) for our Kenosha location.  This dynamic person will be focused on recruiting top CAREGiver talent through on-line posts, walk-ins and community networking. The REM is also responsible for managing the CAREGiver team through one-on-one coaching and annual reviews. The REM reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with all team members at the branch.
This position is anticipated to start on August 1, 2020

Responsibilities

  • Answer each employment inquiry in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner

  • Schedule and conduct applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner  
  • Following the Home Instead Senior Care Standards; conduct reference checks, criminal background and motor vehicle checks and drug screens on all CAREGivers
  • Create and maintain all employment records including but not limited to Form I-9, W-4, etc.
  • Develop engagement strategies to promote CAREGiver retention and satisfaction
  • Schedule and conduct CAREGiver annual reviews and all supervision including regular performance conversations, accountabilities and problem resolution
  • Work in partnership with the Scheduling Department to coordinate CAREGiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches and extraordinary relationships
  • Meet expectations with respect to critical metrics, such as CAREGiver utilization, turnover, etc.
  • Monitor, mediate, and log all client and CAREGiver activity utilizing the software system
  • Help plan and successfully execute all CAREGiver meetings
  • Ensure CAREGiver availability optimization and utilization of CAREGiver hours
  • Accountable for CAREGiver tier management and training
  • Monitor compliance for local and federal labor and safety laws including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, CAREGivers, clients and family members
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
