"I used Home Instead for my husband for five days. They provided home health care to help with his feeding, hygiene, and eating. The caregiver was phenomenal. She was professional, knowledgeable, and knew how to transfer him and take him on schedule. She was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this agency as they can handle those kinds of services, and they also screen their people really well.
"Chris, Roger, Adam and Toni are very professional and understanding. We used them early in May and June 2013. They're just very professional. I would recommend this company ten times over.
"Your service has been dependable and punctual. She has a pleasant disposition and is helpful.

Dear Home Instead,This is a very belated but heartfelt note of thanks to you and Jeanne for the exceptional care Jeanne gave our beloved father in November '08.
Her attention - physical and supportive, did much to stabilize him and maximize his living conditions. She went above and beyond in so many ways, opening up his way to better cope with new conditions and diagnosis. She is a generous and dedicated caregiver, and a credit to your company.Thank you very much,Pam & Bill D. "We never thought my parents would like the arrangements, so it is a testimony to your great team that this worked out beyond our highest expectations."~ Family of a Client
Dear Roger and Home Instead Staff,On behalf of my entire family, I wanted to thank you, and your team, for all the wonderful care you gave my Mom and Dad in the past year. The care was of such high caliber, and consistent with everyone we worked with, from David in the office, to Kathleen and Chris, and of course the caregivers themselves. All of them were special. They took a sincere interest in my parents, and I can tell you that they really appreciated them VERY much.
We never thought my parents would like the arrangements, so it is a testimony to your great team that this worked out beyond our highest expectations.
We had lots of problems with the health and well-being of Dad and Mom in the past year. We all thank God for bringing Home Instead to our service, and to the service of my parents. Home Instead was a beaming light of hope and comfort in an otherwise tough time for us.
Thank you again for all that you do. You should feel very proud and fulfilled in the benefits you bring to families such as ours.Sincerely,Bob L. and Family (Family of a Client)
Home Instead Staff,I should like to take this opportunity to express my thanks for having Annie as my caregiver. Annie is a very caring person and takes care of all of my needs.Sincerely,Marie M. (Client)
Dear Home Instead,This is a letter that I have intended to write for a very long time. However, as is often the case, the crises of everyday life crowd out some of our good intentions. In just a few days, it will be Thanksgiving. As I was thinking about this holiday, I realized that one of the people that I am truly thankful for is David (Service Coordinator). While I'm sure you know David well, I'd like to share my perspective as one of your clients. From the beginning, David jumped right in, trying to grasp the kind of caregiver that was needed. He is a good listener, respectful of boundaries and information that is shared with him, and truly conveys that he cares whether the caregiver is a "good fit" with the person receiving care. I believe that many agencies would take the attitude that they have sent you a caregiver who is willing to do the hours needed, what more could you want? David, on the other hand, understands that availability is only part of the assignment. The personalities of the caregiver and client must also be carefully considered so that the client is not unnecessarily upset by the presence of the caregiver. As you know, this is particularly important where memory loss is involved since the client does not perceive the changes and decline that have occurred in themselves.
Perhaps the one thing that I admire most about David is that he is one of those rare people who can make you feel that your problem is the only one he has, too. While he juggles the multiple needs of all of your clients, I have the luxury of coordinating the care of only one - my mother. I never doubt that David is trying his hardest for my mother. While we may sometimes have unforeseen developments in scheduling, it is never for lack of trying on David's part. It helps that he has a wicked sense of humor which always gives me back my perspective as I try to meet the needs of all the people who depend on me.Hopefully, you are well aware already of the enormous contribution that David makes to your company. However, I would like to respectfully suggest that you continue to find ways to recognize his efforts all year long. He is an integral part in the success of your business and to lose him would be a sad day for all of us.Sincerely,Carla S. (Daughter of a Client)
