Be a Santa to a Senior was a huge
success, and we are thrilled to report that 78 seniors in Ozaukee and
Washington Counties received gifts this holiday season thanks to such
overwhelming volunteer and community generosity.
It was so humbling and heartwarming to
see handmade gifts such as mittens, scarves and booties. There were even
handmade cards from children in the community who wanted to make sure our local
seniors felt loved and appreciated this Holiday season.
A very special thanks to Penelope Vogel & Kerri Kraemer for their commitment to this program. You may have seen Penelope on WISN-12 and Fox-6 talking about this great program, and Kerri worked diligently behind the
scenes gathering names, decorating trees, coordinating volunteers, delivering
gifts and making sure everything went smoothly at the Walgreens locations.
They truly demonstrated our core value
of Love (v.).
