Steve Nooyen
Franchise Owner & Advisory Board Chair
We Care Senior Care, Inc. (dba Home Instead Senior Care)

In January 1997, Steve opened the Green Bay-area Home Instead Senior Care franchise — the first in the state of Wisconsin — followed by the Appleton/Oshkosh-area franchise in 1998. Steve then added the Cedarburg franchise in 2008, Madison in 2013 and Sheboygan in 2017. This group of Home Instead franchises is among the highest performing of the more than 600 North American franchise groups. Steve_Nooyen.jpg

Steve formed the We Care Senior Care Advisory Board in 2013 to focus on big-picture, organizational and strategic opportunities for the company. It also provides critical feedback to the company president — a position Steve held until May 2015, before departing the day-to-day operations to focus on nonprofit programs for disabled hunters and anglers, including Wheelchair Whitetails, LLC and The Fishing Hole, LLC. Steve remains the 100% owner of We Care Senior Care, Inc.

Roger Baumgart
CEO Emeritus

An integral part of the Advisory Board since its inception in 2013, Roger rose to CEO of Home Instead, Inc. and led its growth from fewer than 50 franchises to more than 600. He also helped expand it from a U.S. company to an international operation. Roger_Baumgart.jpg

Roger was at the table for virtually all critical, early-stage entrepreneurial decisions that paved the way to Home Instead becoming the leading provider of senior home care in the world. He now serves as executive director for the Home Instead Senior Care Foundation and runs the Global Strategy Council. Roger has worked with Steve on several system-wide initiatives over the years, including FEC.
