Inspired by their grandmothers, Tyson and Lacey Murphy opened the Home Instead Senior Care office in the Austin,TX area to help seniors who want to remain safe in their homes as they age, by providing a home CAREGiver."I saw an opportunity to meet the needs of seniors in this community and build a business that my family could participate in and benefit from," Tyson said.
And "family" is at the heart of Tyson and Lacey's philosophy. After attending New Mexico State University, Tyson was introduced to the senior care industry by his father, Don Murphy, who has worked for Home Instead Senior Care since 2006. He decided to open his first franchise office in familiar territory – near the family farm, which is located just south of Temple, TX."Don is excellent at what he does and a major part of our team," said Lacey. "His experience from working with Home Instead in Las Cruces, NM, has been instrumental in the start of our franchise here. Ty and I have both learned so much from him."
"It is our goal to set the benchmark for non-medical home care in Austin," Tyson said. "We want to be a reliable, trusted resource for area seniors and their families."
