David and his caring staff took exceptional care of my mother, and then my father, in the final year of their lives. It was my parents' strong desire to remain in their home of 49 years until their final day, and we could not have managed this to occur without the amazing and dedicated care from the Home Instead team. Care began with help just a few days a week, gradually escalating to every day and lastly 24/7 care. We benefitted greatly that my father had the foresight to purchase Long Term Care insurance 20 years ago which included a 5% annual inflation rider. His two policies largely covered their increasing care. On more than one occasion and late at night, David made a personal visit to my parents' home to scoop my fallen mother off of the floor in the days before we had overnight care.
