"I am continually struck by the professionalism, high level of caring and exemplary caregivers that I have met from Home Instead. My mom couldn't live without them, and neither could I.
Cindy was born in New York, and moved to Miami, Florida when she was 3 years old. Growing up in Miami increased Cindy’s love for the outdoors and enjoying life’s natural beauties. She loves going to the beach, snorkeling, fishing, jet skiing, hiking, and biking. In 2003, she completed her Bachelors at Florida University with a BA in Psychology. Shortly thereafter she started her family. Her two kids are now 13, and 11 years old. These two have kept her very busy. In her spare time, she also volunteered at schools helping children in lower social economic areas. Children at the school had a variety of backgrounds ranging from mental health disorder to mental disabilities. In 2011 Cindy moved to Freehold, NJ. She took a break from work to get her children adjusted to living in a new State for a couple of years. In 2013, she began to look for work and stumbled upon a position at Home Instead Senior Care as a receptionist. She was promoted to recruiter, and then in 2016 she became the office manager. In 2018 Cindy is projected to receive her Masters in Arts from Seton Hall University. She likes to keep busy and enjoys being part of the community and a team. Working at Home Instead she can utilize her skills and knowledge to bring awareness of early interventions while also providing empathy and compassion. Cindy’s goal is to be able to help provide not only excellent physical care for our seniors, but to also to be a support system!

Elizabeth "Liz" Ficarra began her home health career more than fifteen years ago with Home Instead Senior Care. She was instrumental in the growth and management of the Morris County office for twelve years and has since worked with several Home Care companies, lending her small-business management and marketing background to the effort. As a passionate, leading voice in dementia care, she has been a fierce advocate of training families to understand their patient's unique needs. She is tireless in learning new skills and developing professionally, and enthusiastic about sharing these with clients and caregivers alike.
In her personal time, Liz loves anything to do with her scruffy dog, "Lexi", spending time with her family and watching the sunset from her patio. She can always be found with a book in hand, and dreams of having everything in its place. Liz is happiest when her son and daughter are home at the same time and plans for months leading up to their visits!
Liz leapt at the opportunity to rejoin Home Instead and provide dementia services and education with the passion and precision that clients deserve. She makes sure that Home Instead practices its missions statement everyday.
