Home Instead Senior Care is an agency that provides in-home care to seniors in Costal Orange County.  We are seeking an MSW to join our Client Care Team as a Client Care Manager. This position will be full-time, and includes a significant amount of time in the field meeting with clients and assessing their care needs.

Overview

The Client Care Manager is responsible for successfully directing and coordinating all activities associated with the care of potential and existing clients, including care consultations with potential clients and family members, client/CAREGiver introductions and quality assurance visits with existing clients. Client Care Managers use the consultative sales approach to determine each individual client’s needs to provide solutions and create a tailored service plan. They continuously evaluate the plan through a series of ongoing communications and visits to ensure high quality care, client satisfaction and retention as well as opportunities to increase service hours.

  • This position requires the performance of office and field work directly related to the general business operations of A Treasured Heart for Seniors, Inc. dba Home Instead Senior Care.
  • This position requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment in regard to the significant matters of developing relationships with our clients and their representatives and of maintaining ongoing billable services for our senior clients.
  • This position requires a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree

Objectives.

  • Meet with prospective clients in order to discover their needs, sign them up for service, and establish a billing relationship
  • Ensure satisfaction, safety, and quality care through regular phone contact with clients and representatives as well as live visits in their homes.
  • Uncover opportunities to protect and expand service hours with the aim of improving the overall value we provide to clients.
  • Develop and maintain a structured, measurable and inclusive Quality Assurance program that builds trust with each client and CAREGiver.
  • Provide leadership and management of the client services and home care sales departments which affect profitability and achievement of the operational goals.
  • Manage outcomes of department activities and direct changes that will drive achievement of operational goals
  • Achieve the annual operational plan’s revenues, gross profit, profitability and other operational goals by the stated milestones. 
  • Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with referral sources in the community.   

Requirements

  • MSW Degree
  • Must live in Costa Mesa or Huntington Beach area
  • Two to five years of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • One year experience in home care, health care or senior-related industry required, an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Office 365 required
  • Knowledge of financials, invoicing and collections a plus
