Maureen is a 2002 graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park. Go Terps! In her past life, Maureen worked in Manhattan as an event planner, a public relations associate, and an elf in the Lord and Taylor window during the Holiday Season. She then lived in Maui for several years where she grew a passion for Scuba Diving and found the love of her life, her husband Chris, a fellow New Yorker. After living the good life in Maui she decided to move back closer to her family and is now living in Saratoga Springs.
Maureen has worked for Home Instead since 2000 in a variety of assignments and positions. She now serves as General Manager and has recently become a Minority Owner. Her favorite part about working with Seniors is hearing their tales and adventures and listening to their advice. She is amazed at the impact our CAREGiving team has on the lives of our clients.
Aside from handling the day-to-day operations at Home Instead, Maureen can also be found running after her son, Brendan. Brendan, in typical fashion, never sits still. When not at Home Instead or chasing her son, Maureen can be found in the classroom as she works to acquire her degree in Nursing. Amazingly, she is still able to find time to sleep.

Maria also presents community programs and workshops on issues related to aging, such as Alzheimer's education for families, home safety, preventing hospitalizations and senior fraud protection.
Currently, Maria is an active volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association. She is one of their Caregiver Support Group Leaders and is also a member of their Adirondack Leadership Council. She is a member of the Warren, Hamilton and Washington County Long Term Care Council and the Saratoga County Aging and Disability Network. Laurie received her Associates Degree in Accounting from Fulton Montgomery Community College. Upon graduation she went to work in the business office of a local nursing home. Her office happened to be situated on a patient wing. It was here that Laurie found her niche in life. Residents who lived at the nursing home would stop by and say hello and share their day. This was best part of her day and she believes it brightened their day as well.
Laurie had a very special relationship with her grandmother Theresa who lived to the age of 96. They enjoyed spending time together, often sitting down for a great game of pinochle, and Laurie helping her Grandmother with daily tasks when assistance was needed.
After moving to the Saratoga Springs area Laurie worked in the adult day care field for many years. Laurie recently worked in our office as a Staff Coordinator. She is happy to be back under her new role that still allows her to work with our wonderful CAREGivers. She is "happy to be back in the office with a great group of co-workers." (Her quote, not ours, but we couldn't agree more!)
Laurie shares her life with her husband, four children and her dog Darby. She enjoys gardening, cooking, playing card, scrapbooking and taking walks with Darby.

All my life I have taken care of people. It was my passion to do so. I cared for my parents & grandmothers until their passings. I also worked at a Alzheimers Facility for 10 years. I knew that this is what I am meant to do. Caring for people.
Working at Home Instead lets me continue to do the work I enjoy. Scheduling caregivers I feel will fit the best with the clients. And getting to know the families too!
Lori teaches Obedience & Conformation Dog classes at the 4-H Center & Working Dog. I am very involved with my dogs. I serve on the Board for Saratoga NY Kennel Club. I currently have joined Southern Adirondack Kennel Club where I will be their Trophy Committee Chairperson. I am the Events Coordinator with Northland Newfoundland Club. Linda has been with Home Instead Senior Care since October 2009. Recently, Linda left her full-time role as Client Care Coordinator to spend more time with her family. Few months later, missing her coworkers and senior clients, Linda returned working part-time in the office as Care Coordinator. In this role, Linda speaks with prospects and handles their inquiries, performs follow-up phone calls and quality assessments, and provides support to her coworkers.
In previous positions Linda was a business and human resources professional, and an adjunct instructor for computer basics and Microsoft Office (Nassau Community College and SUNY Adirondack). Linda received her Master of Arts degree in Business and Policy Studies and undergraduate in Education and Business.
Outside of work Linda spends most of her time with the love of her life, husband Fred. Together they enjoy the outdoors: kayaking, fishing, snowshoeing, birding, bowling, or simply sitting on the deck drinking coffee and watching nature.
Georgia has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2017 performing payroll and bookkeeping functions. She brings to her position over 25 years of business experience with varied responsibilities including: controller; human resource manager; benefits administration; office management and customer service.
She has worked for large national and international organizations but found her true calling while working at a small assisted living facility in Peterborough, NH. Georgia felt a connection to residents and very much enjoyed the interactions she had with them, as well as the staff. She began using her accounting and bookkeeping skills to assist individuals and small businesses and eventually started her own consulting company in 2000.
Originally from this area, in 2017, Georgia and her husband Tony moved back to Saratoga from New Hampshire, where they lived for nearly 20 years. They have four daughters and 11 grandchildren. Most of their family still lives in this area and being near their daughters and grandchildren has been a blessing. Their youngest daughter and two of their grandchildren live in Florida providing a nice place to get away in winter.
Originally from Port Jefferson Station, Long Island Becky made the move upstate in 2008. She lives in Saratoga with her husband, daughter and stepson. She has her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from SUNY New Paltz and is currently in school pursuing her degree in Nursing. Becky's experience working in the human service field is long and vast. She has worked with various populations in many different settings including day programs and group homes. Advocating for people who can't advocate for themselves has always been a driving force in Becky's life and she hopes to carry this through in her nursing career.
Becky has been in a pharmacy setting for the past 8 years. As fate would have it, she was in the same nursing classes as Maureen, who quickly saw her compassionate and professional nature and asked Becky to join the Home Instead team. Becky works officially as the Office Assistant and unofficially as the all-around guru. Becky is a talented baker and cake decorator and often spoils her co-workers with delicious treats! Stop by the office and you may be lucky enough to sample one of her fantastic creations.
