I love to cook and travel and I am a veteran of the United States Army.  I am also a Past Commander of an American Legion Post in NJ.

I was born and raised in Winter Haven, FL, where I am now raising my two beautiful children. I was raised by my grandparents which created a special place in my heart for Seniors. I had been a CNA for over 14 years and worked in both long-term care and assisted living facilities until I was blessed with caring for my own grandparents at home. I learned about Home Instead through my grandmother who worked for the company before she needed care herself. When my time caring for them was over I started working for Home Instead as a CAREGiver. After working as a CAREGiver for about a year I was asked to join the office team as a Scheduler. I didn’t hesitate to join the team of people I already considered family. I am excited to be a part of Home Instead Senior Care where I can continue to make a difference to the lives or our Clients and CG’ers.

Sincerely, Dana Kimbrell

I was born in Cincinnati, OH, and have lived all over the world. I married my wonderful husband Tim while we were both serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Knox, KY, 24 years ago. We have two great kids and three wonderful grandkids. We moved to Winter Haven in 2015 when my husband retired from the Army after 28 years, so he could go to Polk State College for Nursing. Once we moved here, we started helping my mother and father in-law with their daily lives. My experience as a CNA 23 years ago came in handy and helped me to happily move into this role. I found Home Instead when a longtime friend suggested I became a CAREGiver. I am thankful to have worked as a CAREGiver before moving into the office as a scheduler. It has been a wonderful experience and has helped me to understand the needs of our Clients and CAREGivers. I look forward to continuing to help change the lives of our Clients, their Responsible Parties and our CAREGivers.

Respectfully, Sheila Scott

I was born in Winter Haven Florida when it was still a very small town.  I am a 4th generation Floridian.  I did spend some of my childhood in Birmingham, Alabama and some adult years in Crossville, Tn, where I still have great friends to this day.  I have a son and a daughter who are both married and I am patiently awaiting grandchildren.  Most of my professional career has been spent in Emergency Management in the field of Emergency 911.  I have been a Dispatcher, Supervisor and Training Coordinator in this field.  I also have had jobs in management and coordination of personnel in medical office environment.  I am here and happy to help you in any way that I possibly can!

I was born in New Jersey and began my nursing career when I graduated in 1974 and earned my RN. I worked for two years in a large teaching medical center when I found my love of geriatrics and went to work in nursing homes. I have pretty much worked all level nursing positions in several nursing homes. I hold certifications in gerontology and in case management. After the birth of my two children, I worked as a corporate quality improvement nurse for Methodiist Homes of New Jersy and oversaw the quality of care in our skilled facilities and assisted living. I married my current husband in 1998 and took a position with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield working with a managed Medicare product, then as a complex case manager, and then as a quality manager. When my husband retired in 2006, we moverd to North Carolina where I travelled and worked for the Department of Health and Human Services inspecting nursing homes. I retired to Florida in 2012 and found that after almost 40 years of working in the nursing field I was missing the job. So, when the opportunity of working for Home Instead came around, I was happy to find it. My husband and I live in Winter Haven and are presently awaiting the birth of our two granddaughters.
