I was born in California and moved to Arkansas as a young boy. I went to college in TN where I majored in Accounting and Marketing. There I met the woman that soon became my wife. We left to teach English for a year in China. After that, we landed in Florida where we have spent the last 20 plus years working and raising our family. Kathi and I have been blessed with 3 children and 23 years of marriage.

I have had the privilege to work for Florida Hospital as their budget director for several years, but my interest has always been in owning my own business. When I found an opportunity, I jumped and started a health care consulting business that I operated with a partner for 15 years. I also became a building and solar contractor on the side.

When the opportunity came up to own and operate this Home Instead Franchise, I knew both my wife and I had found a way to work together and also make a difference in the lives of seniors in our community. We have had a wonderful time working with our CareGivers and providing Services to those needing the Home Touch of Home Instead Senior Care.

Sincerely,
David Jensen - Co-owner

I was born to a missionary family in Panama. I had the privilege of  growing up in Honduras and Guatemala. I was blessed to learn Spanish and didn't move back to the US until I was 12.

I went to school in TN where I took Nursing and I also met my husband. Our adventure continued as we traveled to China to teach English, and then made our way back to the US, landing in FL.

I began working as a Home Health Nurse. I loved the one on one time with my patients and the time I had to do education. I also worked in GI and in the OR over the years. Mostly, I have been blessed to be home with my three children as a mom and teacher.

Now, David and I are excited to be able to own and operate this Home Instead office to provide the very BEST care possible to all our clients and to make a difference in our community. Looking forward to serving you.

Sincerely,
Kathi Jensen - Co-owner

I was born in New Jersey and have lived there all of my life until moving to Winter Haven in May of 2014.  I got married to my husband Phil in March of 2013 and we have five beautiful children all of whom are married.  We currently have 5 grandchildren with another coming any day.

I love to cook and travel and I am a veteran of the United States Army.  I am also a Past Commander of an American Legion Post in NJ.

I love people and I am excited about my future with Home Instead.  Helping people and their families is one of the greatest and most rewarding gifts a person can receive.

I look forward to assisting you.
Very truly yours,

Love of people and community motivate me every day! I have been involved in health care most of my life and have a deep sense of advocacy for seniors.  My desire in life is to make rich deposits into the people I am in contact with. I retired once, but that did not last long! I am so happy to be a part of Home Instead doing community outreach and truly connecting with our local seniors. As our office's community outreach coordinator, I am responsible for alligning networking opportunities and events in order to promote how Home Instead can help seniors and their loved ones. One of the programs I am most proud of is our Alzheimer's Support Group. This group gives both caregivers and family members alike an opportunity to learn more about the disease and how to care for a loved one with Alzheimer's or dementia.  Outside of work, I am the mother of four fantastic children and nine amazing grandchildren.

I am a Winter Haven native and have strong ties to this community. I am usually the first point of contact for both our clients and our CAREGivers. I aim to recoginze people's needs and deliver results in a way that exceeds clients' expecations. During the day, I assist with the hiring process, billing, and entering information into our database. I work collaboratively with the rest of our office staff toward a common goal: the best care for our clients. When I am not at work, I am kept very busy with my two children and my very active four grandchildren.

I was born in Winter Haven Florida when it was still a very small town.  I am a 4th generation Floridian.  I did spend some of my childhood in Birmingham, Alabama and some adult years in Crossville, Tn, where I still have great friends to this day.  I have a son and a daughter who are both married and I am patiently awaiting grandchildren.  Most of my professional career has been spent in Emergency Management in the field of Emergency 911.  I have been a Dispatcher, Supervisor and Training Coordinator in this field.  I also have had jobs in management and coordination of personnel in medical office environment.  I am here and happy to help you in any way that I possibly can!

I was born in New Jersey and began my nursing career when I graduated in 1974 and earned my RN. I worked for two years in a large teaching medical center when I found my love of geriatrics and went to work in nursing homes. I have pretty much worked all level nursing positions in several nursing homes. I hold certifications in gerontology and in case management. After the birth of my two children, I worked as a corporate quality improvement nurse for Methodiist Homes of New Jersy and oversaw the quality of care in our skilled facilities and assisted living. I married my current husband in 1998 and took a position with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield working with a managed Medicare product, then as a complex case manager, and then as a quality manager. When my husband retired in 2006, we moverd to North Carolina where I travelled and worked for the Department of Health and Human Services inspecting nursing homes. I retired to Florida in 2012 and found that after almost 40 years of working in the nursing field I was missing the job. So, when the opportunity of working for Home Instead came around, I was happy to find it. My husband and I live in Winter Haven and are presently awaiting the birth of our two granddaughters.
