I was born in New Jersey and have lived there all of my life until moving to Winter Haven in May of 2014. I got married to my husband Phil in March of 2013 and we have five beautiful children all of whom are married. We currently have 5 grandchildren with another coming any day.
I was born in Groton, Connecticut into a Navy family and lived in Connecticut, Hawaii, Florida, Massachusetts, California and New Jersey.I met my husband Tom in New Jersey, where we married in 1975. We have four children and they have given us nine grandchildren, and they are the joy of our lives. My education is in Administrative studies, I’m also a licensed Cosmetologist and managed two salons in New York. I’m student of the Bible and was the Assistant Director of a dance and drama team.Alexis means “helper of mankind” and really identifies who I am and what I do. Being a team member of the Winter Haven Home Instead office enables me to make a difference in the world.
I was born and raised in Winter Haven, FL, where I am now raising my two beautiful children. I was raised by my grandparents which created a special place in my heart for Seniors. I had been a CNA for over 14 years and worked in both long-term care and assisted living facilities until I was blessed with caring for my own grandparents at home. I learned about Home Instead through my grandmother who worked for the company before she needed care herself. When my time caring for them was over I started working for Home Instead as a CAREGiver. After working as a CAREGiver for about a year I was asked to join the office team as a Scheduler. I didn’t hesitate to join the team of people I already considered family. I am excited to be a part of Home Instead Senior Care where I can continue to make a difference to the lives or our Clients and CG’ers.
Sincerely, Dana Kimbrell
I was born in Cincinnati, OH, and have lived all over the world. I married my wonderful husband Tim while we were both serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Knox, KY, 24 years ago. We have two great kids and three wonderful grandkids. We moved to Winter Haven in 2015 when my husband retired from the Army after 28 years, so he could go to Polk State College for Nursing. Once we moved here, we started helping my mother and father in-law with their daily lives. My experience as a CNA 23 years ago came in handy and helped me to happily move into this role. I found Home Instead when a longtime friend suggested I became a CAREGiver. I am thankful to have worked as a CAREGiver before moving into the office as a scheduler. It has been a wonderful experience and has helped me to understand the needs of our Clients and CAREGivers. I look forward to continuing to help change the lives of our Clients, their Responsible Parties and our CAREGivers.Respectfully, Sheila Scott

"I am continually struck by the professionalism, high level of caring and exemplary caregivers that I have met from Home Instead. My mom couldn't live without them, and neither could I.
