All Our Professional Caregivers are NJ Certified Home Health Aides
School & Requirements:
- We offer a PAID Training Program which includes 60 hours of coursework completed online. You must complete 15 hours per week of online training for four weeks.
- There are four mandatory weekly live classes at our office for four hours each week.
- On the fifth week, there is a mandatory 16 hours of live, hands-on clinical skills training at our office with our nurse, completed over two consecutive days from 9 am-5 pm.
How You Get Paid to Train
- You will receive $600 for the 5-6 weeks of training.
- Home Instead will also pay for all training costs and costs associated with licensure.
Getting Certified:
- We will assist you with the NJ Board of Nursing Certified Home Health Aide application submitted online. You must provide all required documents.
- You must pass a Criminal Background Check, including FBI fingerprinting.
The Job:
- Upon completing the course and once you are certified, you may be eligible to join our team as a Professional Caregiver!
- Starting wage is $17 - $22 per hour
- After working 100 hours, you will receive a $200 “Thank You” Bonus
