Along with his good sense for business, Steve brings with him an undeniable passion for Home Instead Senior Care. With over 25 years of sales and business management under his belt, Steve’s knowledge and experience are important aspects of our office. He holds a degree in Broadcasting from Arizona State University. Steve is a member of the Career Advisory Board at County College of Morris, and is an active speaker and panel member for the Aging Solutions Network (ASN). Steve is an enthusiastic and committed franchise owner who is always eager to provide solutions to our clients, their families and prospective clients as well. He works hard every day to keep Home Instead Senior Care as the leader in senior home care services in Morris and Passaic Counties. Steve is married to his wife Andrea, and together they bring a unique team approach to running their Home Instead Senior Care franchise. In his spare time, Steve is an active member of his synagogue, enjoys music and traveling, and along with Andrea, helps to raise their four children and their dog, Baxter.
Rosemary comes to Home Instead Senior Care with an extensive variety of nursing experience. In the past, Rosemary has worked as a Field Nurse Supervisor in home care, was the Director of Public Relations at a 576-bed hospital in Brooklyn, managed a bustling private practice urology office, worked as a health care writer and was a medical consultant on the daytime drama, One Life To Live.
She received her RN and BSN from CUNYs College of Staten Island and her Master's degree in Health Care Administration from Hofstra University. Rosemary completed Writing and Editing course work at NYU's School of Continuing Educational and Professional Studies and is currently advancing her studies in Holistic Nursing at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in NYC. Rosemary is CPR/AED certified as well as a Certified Overdose Responder.
In her free time, Rosemary likes to read, exercise, travel, meditate and share her passion for holistic nursing with her clients and their families.
As our Office Coordinator, Karen's responsibilities center on ensuring that all processes within the office function effectively, and that the highest level of quality service is provided to our clients. Specifically, Karen handles the billing and payroll functions of the business, manages the collection of mandatory CAREGiver notes, and maintains Client and CAREGiver relationships through effective and ongoing communication. In addition, Karen is our primary Service Inquiry Specialist. In this role she is responsible for speaking with prospective clients or their loved ones on their initial call to Home Instead Senior Care, and explaining the many benefits of our services. With a wealth of knowledgeable and compassionate, Karen is quite effective at putting the caller at ease and getting the client set up for service!
Karen's past experience includes over 30 years of administrative positions in various industries, and most recently, spent six years with another company in the senior home care field. A lover of nature, Karen and her husband enjoy traveling to national parks and gardening in their free time. They have two adult children as well as a beloved golden retriever.
Brynn comes to Home Instead Senior Care with a passion for helping others and a dedication to seniors. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Gerontology from Shippenburg University and has worked for the past several years as a manager for a busy medical practice. Brynn’s responsibilities at Home Instead Senior Care include finding and hiring the best talent in our community and then all things HR-related once our CAREGivers are onboarded. Her innate wisdom and caring heart make her the perfect conduit for our CAREGivers to be successful within our HISC family. When not at work Brynn spends much time with her family, especially with her young niece and nephew. Brynn also enjoys reading and her book club, cooking and baking, and is an avid sports fan.
Baxter, a pure breed Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, is our crazy beloved office dog. He is proficient in Windows and Excel and is fluent in Spanish. Baxter is always eager to help with any task. He can sit, stay and shake on command. He also loves to bury his treats and bones out in the yard. Baxter’s non-stop energy and puppy-like qualities keep all of us smiling whenever he comes to work!
