Caregiver Jobs in Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Here at Home Instead, we know exactly what to look for when we need to hire a CAREGiver. We want someone who is honest, hard-working, compassionate, and enjoys working with the elderly. However, there is so much more that goes into being an amazing caregiver!

When it comes to working for Home Instead, we put our applicants through a lot. Everyone is required to pass a DOJ background check, get tested for TB, get fingerprinted, and register through the California Home Care Bureau. They also must interview with several staff members, pass their pre-employment drug screen, and have enough availability to work when our clients need help the most.

That’s why we are proud to be in the 95th percentile for paying our CAREGivers. We not only want applicants that are highly skilled, but we also want to provide the stability and support that many agencies just cannot provide to their staff.

As of October 1st, 2017, both our Victorville and Rancho Cucamonga offices are proud to offer starting wages from $12 - $14 per hour for all CAREGivers. Those with some experience caring for a friend or family member will start off at $12, with the possibility of advancing with additional training and a solid work history. Those with 1-2 years of experience at a facility or another agency will start at $13.00, and those with 5 years or more experience will start at $14.00 per hour. All experience will need to be verified before hire. This gives us a chance to hire seasoned, qualified CAREGivers at a pay rate they deserve.

We are so lucky to be able to help families care for their loved ones at home, and we appreciate everyone who walks through our doors who have the same goal in mind. Caregiving isn’t just a job to us – it’s our passion. If it’s a passion of yours as well, please call or apply online anytime. We would love to talk with you more!
