To whom it may concern,

As a nurse I have certain expectations of caregivers and providers.  I expect care that I would give to my family member or my own patient.  Being new to Maryland I felt I had to trust an unfamiliar system when finding care for my aunt Mary.

What a relief it was to find that your agency was everything I expected and more. Your agency staff was courteous and professional, and your bedside staff was more than competent, but empathetic and supportive. Your bedside staff cared for my aunt meeting my own expectations and more. I wish I had used your agency long before she became ill and requiring Hospice. Actually as I told my family, had I known about your agency I would have considered having my aunt live at my home and had your agency come in to care for her.   The two main caregivers  were Ms. Bailey who was with me when my aunt passed and supported me through this process.  I believe she won my aunt over with her loving spirit; my aunt was not very trusting of those she didn't know.  Ms. McCoy was my aunts othcr caregiver and was very professional  and cared for my aunt like she was her own family member. She gave personal care and respected the time my family mymbers spent with my aunt, giving us privacy.

In closing, I would recommend your agency to not only my personal friends but to my patients that might need an agency for their family member.  As a nurse that has worked at the bedside, in homecare, outpatient and in management,  I believe your agency provides competent, compassionate care.  I would consider even working for your company just from the experience that I had with my aunt's care.

Dear  Brice:

On behalf of my family, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and your team  for the outstanding and caring job you have all done for my mother, Elizabeth, over the last four years. With many of us living a distance away, the level confidence we had in your staff and caregivers made us feel like Mom was still in the of family.

Barbara's ability to find the right people, particular during the weeks we required 24-hour care, was just amazing. We feel strongly that many of them  not only looked after her but made a significant difference in her ability to recover to the point she has.

Even though we were not able to keep mom at home, should the opportunity rise to use your services again, or to recommend you to another family, I would not hesitate. Please feel free to  use this  as letter of recommendation or to use me personally as a reference.

Best regards,  William
Dear Home Instead CAREGivers, Staff and Administrators,
I recently informed Home Instead that our mom has moved into a long term care facility. The right words are sometimes difficult to come by, however on behalf of my brother Terry, my wife Joyce and me, we wanted to express our thanks to everyone at Home Instead for your dedication, compassion and love given to our mother over the years.

"Team Jane", the nickname the CAREGivers gave themselves, was certainly responsible for our mother's ability to remain at home as long as she did. For that we are indeed grateful. Each CAREGiver, present and past worked diligently to insure her safety and give her the
companionship she needed to maintain her quality of life.

Once again, thank you to everyone at Home Instead, each of you have been an important part of our mother's life and care. As a family we remain committed to the wonderful and meaningful program at Home Instead and will continue to strongly recommend you and your program at every opportunity.  God bless you all and all that you do.
Sincerely Yours.

Mr. Brice Irwin,

We just wanted to write you a note and let you know how very pleased we were with the senior care services you provided our mom, Jestein.  Your company was as reliable, flexible and responsive to our needs as you promised during our first interview.  And we were so thrilled with the absolutely wonderful caregiver you provided us.  Wendy is the most cheerful and pleasant companion we could ever have hoped for, and she truly cared for Mom  from the heart. She made showers fun, kept Mom safe, helped Mom get some exercise, and she tactfully and patiently persuaded Mom to try a variety of activities from puzzles to card games.   Mom didn't think she would enjoy any of these activities, but now she is quite a fan of Skip-Bo, and we can all enjoy playing this card game with her. I'm sure Mom misses doing the Word Jumble with Wendy.  Somehow, by the time Wendy went home after each visit, Mom was in a more cheerful and alert mood and the whole house was in perfect order.  Wendy is just simply a warm and good person, one of the best, and we are honored to know her.

Mom is now adjusting very well to her new assisted living home, and she thanks you for all the help you have given her.

We will miss our association with your company, and wish you all the best in the future.

Sincerely,  Susan  Joan  Kent
