Providing Personal Emergency Response Services in Milwaukee, WI

We are excited to announce a new service available to you from Home Instead Senior Care and Philips Lifeline that could help you or your loved one continue living in the comfort of home.

Lifeline is an easy-to-use medical alert service designed to reduce the risk of living alone.  In the event of a fall or emergency, help is available at the push of a button.  The Lifeline Personal Help Button connects you to a trained Personal Response Associate who can send help quickly 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Lifeline can give you greater peace of mind and a sense of confidence to help you maintain independent living.  Best of all, you are not required to buy any equipment or make a long-term commitment.

Selecting Lifeline service through Home Instead Senior Care has many benefits. With Home Instead Lifeline there is no need to hassle with self installation, we send a certified installer right to the subscriber's door. We can provide same day installation, and free support for as long as you use our service. When you chose to establish Lifeline service through Home Instead, we'll even waive the $49.50 installation fee for residents of Milwaukee County.

Philips Lifeline is the nation's leading  medical alert service provider with over 500,000 subscribers nationwide. While nothing can replace the personal touch of a Home Instead CAREGiver, Lifeline is an important part of keeping seniors safe at home. Below is a list of the Lifeline products and services currently available through Home Instead Senior Care.

Home Instead Senior Care Lifeline Solutions

The CarePartner 6900 is the latest in Philips Lifelines series of continuously enhanced products, providing new flexibility for programs.  It also makes the Lifeline service even more consumer-friendly, increasing subscriber satisfaction and caregiver peace of mind. View Product Details here.
Being able to be heard during a Help Call is a common concern addressed by the Voice Extension 68XT. Designed for those who live in larger or multi-story homes, this accessory enables a second two-way speakerphone in the home to better enable voice communication in remote areas during a Help Call. Step 2: Choose a Pendant

Feeling safe shouldn’t be constrained to your home environment. Ideally, you’d like to feel safe and secure wherever you might be! Whether that’s walking to your mailbox or going on vacation, feel confident with 24/7 access to help at home and outside on the go with our GoSafe line of medical alert systems. GoSafe is the new mobile personal emergency response system from Philips Lifeline.
Designed for those that are looking for an easy-to-use system that can help provide them with a sense of confidence to continue to get out and live life to the fullest. View Product Details here.
Every year, more than 13 million people age 65 and older suffer from falling accidents. You can become disoriented, or become immobilized or knocked unconscious, and unable to call for help. We responded to this need with the new Philips Lifeline with AutoAlert option. Just like with our Standard Lifeline Medical Alert Service, you can push the pendant-style button for help at any time. For an added layer of protection, the Lifeline with AutoAlert is the only pendant-style help button that can automatically place a call for help if it detects a fall and you're unable to push the button yourself. The Slimline Personal Help Button is small, lightweight, and completely waterproof to provide maximum comfort and flexibility. Slimline's attractive design reduces the stigma associated with wearing a Personal Help Button. Slimline can be worn as a pendant with an adjustable neck cord or easily converted to a wrist strap with a soft, adjustable elastic strap.
A Personal Help Button that users are happy to wear. This soft-ivory button with gold-tone bead and actuator was designed with the look of jewelry. The Classic Pendant reduces the self-consciousness associated with having the Lifeline service. And at half an ounce, it is comfortable to wear, as well as completely waterproof. The Classic Pendant comes with a soft, adjustable neck cord.

Medication Management Solutions

Seniors rely on their medications to keep them healthy, but complex medication schedules can lead to mistakes: missing doses, taking incorrect amounts, or taking medicines at the wrong times. These mistakes could lead to unnecessary doctor or hospital visits, illness and even death.  Patients who follow the directions of their doctors and pharmacists by taking their medications in the prescribed amounts at the right times can reduce the health risks associated with medication errors. In the area of dispensing adherence, the Philips Medication Dispensing Service shines with a dispensing adherence rate among monitored subscribers of 98.6 percent. View Product Details here.
