Geoffrey Moore - Owner

Geoffrey Moore - Owner

Geoffrey opened the Home Instead Senior Care franchise serving the western half of Cuyahoga County in December of 1998. From the very beginning it was apparent that Home Instead's service was destined to become a much-valued option for seniors. Back then, having a local, professional, and caring provider that enabled seniors to remain in their own homes was unique. Of course, the desire of seniors to remain in their own homes and be independent has not diminished over the last two decades. More than ever, seniors and their families appreciate the attention to detail, individualized Care Plans, superb matching of clients and CAREGivers, and the responsive office staff they've come to rely on through Home Instead Senior Care.

Prior to opening the Home Instead offices, Geoffrey worked as a Special Administrative Assistant at Kendal at Oberlin, a Continuing Care Retirement Community. He holds an MBA (Specializing in Healthcare Administration) from Cleveland State University. He also earned a Certificate in Gerontological Studies while finishing the MBA program. He is a graduate of Capital University.

Shannon joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2006 after being a stay at home mother to her daughter. She developed a passion for helping seniors stay in their homes after witnessing the care her own family provided for her grandmother, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease when she was just 60 years old. Shannon and her family enhanced the quality of life of Grandmother Glennie Bell for 13 years while she lived happily in her home with her husband Edward. This experience gave Shannon firsthand knowledge of the challenges families face when caring for a loved one. It is her hope that every family discovers that home care is often the best option for seniors. As a Client Care Coordinator, she is eager to share her personal and professional experience to help families benefit from successful home care.


Kathy - Staff Nurse, Training

Kathy - Staff Nurse, Training

Kathy was born and raised in Cleveland and joined our team early in 2016. Prior to graduating nursing school, she was a Home Health Aide for 10 years. Relying on her background as a nurse in hospice care, Kathy helps create Care Plans for our clients and assures our quality via in-home visits and consultations with families. Additionally, she is involved with the initial and on-going training of our CAREGivers. A strong proponent of home care, Kathy’s commitment to our clients and CAREGivers is focused squarely on good outcomes. Through her knowledge, experience, and insight, we tailor our care such that our clients will remain in their homes for as long as they desire to stay.


Tom – Senior Marketing Director, Home Care Consultant

Tom – Senior Marketing Director, Home Care Consultant

​Tom is a seasoned health care professional with over 33 years of experience that includes 24 years of exceptional service to the senior community in Northeast Ohio. As a Home Care Consultant and our Senior Marketing Director, he enjoys promoting Home Instead's ability to enhance the lives of aging adults. When Tom meets with clients, families, and our referral providers, he does so with the knowledge that Home Instead continually provides in-home care that exceeds their expectations. He is a senior advocate who loves to visit and spend time with his clients and their families. Tom has a business degree from Kent State University.


Diane - Client Care Coordinator, Billing

Diane - Client Care Coordinator, Billing

​Diane joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2012 after providing eleven years of administrative support in a long-term care facility. In her role as Client Care Coordinator, she meets with clients and family members to identify needs and develop individually tailored Care Plans. Diane loves seniors and finds working with them a life-enhancing experience. She especially enjoys the meaningful interaction she shares with our clients, their families, and the caregivers who support them.


Toni - Receptionist

Toni - Receptionist

​Our receptionist, Toni, is a 35-year veteran in the healthcare field. She joined our Home Instead team in 2014 and since that time has personally answered nearly every call that comes into our office. As the first point of contact, she knows it is extremely important for the caller to perceive she's sincerely interested in assisting them with their questions and concerns. Toni provides the calm and reassuring voice that let's every caller know they've called the right place. 


Erin - Staff Coordinator

Erin - Staff Coordinator

Since 2013 Erin has been the Staff Coordinator for Home Instead Senior Care. Erin works with CAREGivers, clients, and their families to create schedules that will suit their needs and meet expectations. Having worked at an assisted living facility at an early age (16), Erin has been helping seniors for 15 years. One thing her longevity in the senior care field has taught her is that seniors don't like change. Her role is to monitor our care schedules and keep the "bumps in the road" to an absolute minimum. Erin keeps things running smoothly and gives our senior clients something they truly appreciate: predictability. ​


Anne - Administrative Assistant, Quality Assurance

Anne - Administrative Assistant, Quality Assurance

​Anne joined Home Instead Senior Care in March of 2016.  She works closely with our Client Care Coordinators to ensure that each client's Care Plan is understood and adhered to by our team.  She is in regular communication with our clients, family members and our CAREGivers throughout the day.  Anne enjoys learning about the unique needs of each client and then discussing the details with the CAREGivers with the goal of keeping our seniors safely in their homes. In addition, Anne works with clients and insurance providers to ensure the best outcomes when clients' long-term care insurance policies are involved.


Suz - Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator

Suzie joined Home Instead in 2017 with the objective of hiring people willing to share their hearts with our clients. So, while she does read resumes and reviews candidate skill sets, she's much more interested in learning how attuned to the needs of our seniors applicants are. Suzie has developed a keen sense that allows her to recognize candidates for the CAREGiver position who truly have a "calling" to help seniors. Those special people are the ones offered a position on our team.

Knowing that she is part of an organization that gives seniors and families peace of mind is what motivates her everyday.  



Betty - On-Call Supervisor

Betty - On-Call Supervisor

Betty joined the Home Instead staff in 2018 because she felt strongly in our philosophy - “to us, it’s personal.”  Betty brought her 40+ years of experience in the healthcare field, including Hospice and Home Care. She also has extensive experience as an after-hours service representative.  Whether you call Home Instead during the evening hours or the middle of the night, Betty’s will be the friendly voice you hear. She’s always willing to help because, to her, it’s personal.




Lori - Lead Caregiver / Payroll Specialist

Lori - Lead Caregiver / Payroll Specialist

Lori started her second career with Home Instead Senior Care in 2010.  She holds many different responsibilities when it comes to caring for our seniors, including introducing CAREGivers to clients and mentoring new CAREGivers. She provides direct care to some of our long-term clients and has consistently brought hope and happiness to them. She also works in our Human Resources department on employee payroll.

She earned her MBA from Baldwin-Wallace University.  She also holds a MS in Community Health and a BS in Education from Cleveland State University.
