Then, she helps out with cleaning, organizing, walking the dog and whatever we need that particular week. She is always happy to see us.
Janine loves people. Co-owning Home Instead Vancouver is the most meaningful work she has ever done. She is a registered nurse and has a degree in counselling but has also spent years managing sales and operations in healthcare. Working with our clients is the perfect mix of one-to-one connecting, problem solving and caring combined with the excitement of building a business and creating a great place to work.
Kim has owned her own business for over 30 years. She has always had a strong passion for seniors which has led her to working towards her Masters in Gerontology. Home Instead has allowed her to carry that passion for seniors by demanding that every senior who is touch by Home Instead feels valued and connected to others. Kim loves to spend time with her family and to travel with her husband of 41 years.
Courtney has a passion for people and loves to make a difference which has made her a great addition to the Home Instead team. She studied International Relations in university and is certified to teach English as a second language. Courtney manages the office and assists with new client Service Inquiries. She also helps bring new CAREGivers on board, organizing and leading training and educational programs.
Vlad is in charge of finding the perfect caregiver for every single client. He became a Medical Doctor in 2008 and worked in many rural underprivileged communities in Mexico providing medical care. In 2011, Vlad started to teach science and became very passionate about helping people to improve their lifestyles. Outside of work, he enjoys watching TV shows, outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
Joan is responsible for hiring and management of our CAREGiver staff. She is passionate about finding and retaining the highest quality and most compassionate people available. She loves to teach and coordinates trainings, educational and other activities to promote our CAREGivers success and happiness. She brings over 30 years of experience working in the US healthcare system as an RN, Nurse Practitioner and other medical specialties.
Rosalia brings a compassionate, client-centered approach to her role as Client Care Manager for Home Instead. Prior to her move to BC 6 years ago, Rosalia was a Registered Nurse in Ontario. In that role, she specialized in pediatric nursing at McMaster Children's Hospital over her 25 year career. Rosalia is known as a friend to many, mother of three grown sons, tolerant spouse and all-round kind, considerate person.
Having worked in the private sector for multiple years, Stacey has experience in servicing many industries in her professional capacity. Educated through the CMA program for three years, she recently received her Certificate as a Professional Bookkeeper. Stacey is passionate in whatever she sets out to accomplish. Stacey has been with Home Instead since inception.
Sally is our On-Call Coordinator who is available to respond around the clock when emergency situations arise. A mother of six, she cares deeply about seniors and their needs and loves to be there to help.
