The list was generated using anonymous feedback from employees at the nation's top employers.

Companies on the Best Employers' list range across 25 different industry sectors – from government services to retail to healthcare. While the 2017 list featured a variety of healthcare companies, Home Instead is the only provider of home care services for seniors.

Staffing Coordinator

Job Details

The Staffing Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling service for clients.  The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for scheduling clients and CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality service to clients with emphasis on creating extraordinary relationships. 

Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming telephone calls live and respond to them as needed.
  • Communicate with CAREGivers and clients regarding scheduling as changes arise.
  • Fill open assignments with appropriate CAREGivers.
  • Effectively match and schedule caregivers with clients in new and ongoing assignments, ensuring that every shift is assigned in a timely manner, to the client’s satisfaction and with appropriate follow up with all parties. 
  • Enter and maintain accurate client and caregiver records, including client/CAREGiver activities, progress, and communications between all parties.
  • Document all calls, changes and follow up needed for clients and CAREGivers.
  • Communicate effectively with staffing department and care managers about clients and CAREGivers. 
  • Work with Client Care team to satisfy all client concerns in a timely manner.
  • Assist with "on call" responsibilities when the need arises.
 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
  • Organized; able to create and maintain systems that support effective communication between Client Care team members
  • Ability to anticipate challenges, initiate solutions and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to demonstrate effective problem solving skills

Family Care Specialist

Job Details

Home Instead Senior Care of Mecklenburg County is looking for a full-time Family Care Specialist (FCS). The FCS manages the inside sales, service inquiry, client on-boarding processes and oversees Lead CAREGivers that support the Client Care team. The goal is to provide families and new clients with an exceptional customer experience from their very first call through the first 30 days of service.


Skills Required

This position requires the following skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Preference for person with sales experience.
  • Warm, friendly and upbeat telephone demeanor.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conducting and managing all service inquiries.
  • Converting service Inquiries into Care Consultations appointments by using the sales process.
  • Work in a consultative manner by providing clients and families community resources.
  • Manage the follow-up process including sharing resources and building relationships with potential clients and decision makers.
  • Coordinate and schedule RN assessments as needed for new clients.
  • Enter all new client information into operating system as well as ongoing documentation.
  • Arrange client/CAREGiver Introductions and ensure that CAREGivers are prepared for Introductions.
  • Follow-up with clients and CAREGivers according to our QA process in the first 30 days and ensure proper documentation by Client Care team for new clients.
  • Work with other team members to coordinate various aspects of a client’s care.
