The Staffing Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the coordination of scheduling service for clients.  The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for scheduling clients and CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality service to clients with emphasis on creating extraordinary relationships. 

Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming telephone calls live and respond to them as needed.
  • Communicate with CAREGivers and clients regarding scheduling as changes arise.
  • Fill open assignments with appropriate CAREGivers.
  • Effectively match and schedule caregivers with clients in new and ongoing assignments, ensuring that every shift is assigned in a timely manner, to the client’s satisfaction and with appropriate follow up with all parties. 
  • Enter and maintain accurate client and caregiver records, including client/CAREGiver activities, progress, and communications between all parties.
  • Document all calls, changes and follow up needed for clients and CAREGivers.
  • Communicate effectively with staffing department and care managers about clients and CAREGivers. 
  • Work with Client Care team to satisfy all client concerns in a timely manner.
  • Assist with "on call" responsibilities when the need arises.
 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
  • Organized; able to create and maintain systems that support effective communication between Client Care team members
  • Ability to anticipate challenges, initiate solutions and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to demonstrate effective problem solving skills
  • Ability to demonstrate “customer first" prioritization of activities
  • Have a passion for seniors
