Laura Ingalls Wilder once said, "home is the nicest word there is." This may be especially true for individuals affected by Alzheimer's or other types of dementia. The famiiar surroundings of home can play an important role in managing cognitive diseases.
Where do we fit in? Home Instead Senior Care of Prince
Edward Island can provide compassionate, high quality memory care right in the

All of our Alzheimer’s and dementia CAREGivers take part in
our unique and critically acclaimed training program called CARE: Changing
Aging through Research and Education. As pioneers in this field, Home Instead
Senior Care developed the highest quality dementia caregiver training program
available. We have helped change the way people live with Alzheimer’s and other
types of dementia. We understand that for many, home is the most comfortable
place to be. Home Instead Senior Care can be part of the puzzle in helping you
(or your loved one) stay living at home.
We believe that by providing education to our community, we can all become better leaders in caring for those diagnosed with dementia. Our Care Coordinators and Community Educators put on Free training across the Island throughout the year for the public. Whether you're caring for a loved one or are interested in learning more about forms of dementia, we are happy to visit your community and provide training.
