David and Malorie Hill purchased the existing Home Instead Senior Care office in Mason, Ohio in 2012 to add to their three Home Instead Senior Care offices located in Northeast Florida. Today, their home care businesses employ well over 400 full time and part time employees and is among the largest of the Home Instead Senior Care operations, which consist of over 1,000 offices in 17 countries.
While content with his two decade long career as a counselor (David) and her various business office positions (Malorie), they decided to combine their specific areas of expertise in the growing health care field. The Hills were impressed with the professionalism and sincerity exhibited by the Home Instead Senior Care corporate staff in Omaha, Nebraska.Thus began what has turned out to be a truly rewarding adventure of developing one of the top 5 operations of Home Instead Senior Care's network of franchise business owners.
While native Buckeyes, David and Malorie have their office headquarters located in Jacksonville, FL. "We love the idea of expanding our quality-first home care business to the state where we spent over 40 years of our lives".
Taking over operations of an existing home care business can present may challenges. "We were fortunate to inherit a great office staff and an outstanding pool of CAREGivers in the Mason, Ohio office. We felt there was a tremendous opportunity to expand the Home Instead Senior Care model to a significantly large group of seniors in the southwest corner of Ohio".
Within one year of purchasing the Mason office, the number of service hours being provided to seniors in need of non-medical care and personal care services has increased 150%.

Cheryl serves as the General Manager over our Mason, Ohio office of Home Instead Senior Care in Butler and Warren counties and many surrounding areas.
Her role is to oversee all of the day-to-day operations performed by the office staff. These responsibilities include assigning and directing work, planning, appraising performance, coaching employees performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
She is a long time resident of Butler County,
Ohio and an active volunteer in the community and an avid marathon
Cheryl is a graduate of the College of Mount St. Joseph, Cincinnati, OH with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts.
Megan serves as our Chief Financial Officer for our Ohio franchises, as well as, Florida franchises owned by David and Malorie Hill. Megan initially joined Home Instead Senior Care as an Administrative Assistant, to support the Executive Team and the Accounting Department with various administrative tasks. She moved into the Accounting Specialist position and then became Director of Finance, while continuing to take on new and more complex tasks as her position grew and developed. Working in each position in the Accounting Department has given her a true understanding of every step of the billing and payroll processes. As C.F.O., Megan works closely with the owners and the other members of the Leadership Team to keep Home Instead Senior Care the agency and employer of choice.
Suzanne is a ‘96 graduate of Ohio University with a
Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration. Go Bobcats!
Having cherished the relationships with her own
grandparents, who provided much love and support in her life, she is driven and
passionate about helping seniors to achieve quality of life while maintaining
safety and independence. She loves
connecting with and through people to make this happen. Educating seniors, their families and the
community about home care services is a major focus of Suzanne’s mission.
She has a joyful spirit and enjoys the “little things,”
especially laughter. Spending time with
family and friends, encouraging her three sons in their various athletics and
activities, and finding opportunities for teachable life lessons are what
matter most to Suzanne.
Jessica is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati
with a Master of Science degree in Health Administration. She has been a big
sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters for many years and adores her little
sister. She enjoys volunteering at church and in the community, spending time
with friends and family, and spending time with her black lab Nola. She brings
years of experience working with the senior population and a special passion
for the dementia population. Her focus is on developing new relationships,
maintaining our old relationships and educating seniors and their families
about the services Home Instead Senior Care provides to further enhance lives.
Nancy is a Registered Nurse who comes to our Home Instead
family with a wealth of experience. Nancy’s role is to provide
specialized training for our CAREGivers, where expert training in personal care is essential to our seniors.
She is a graduate of California
State University with experience in the emergency department, Hospice Care,
home health care, as well as, an instructor for training Emergency Medical
Karla's role is that of a Senior Service Coordinator, working closely with her team to ensure that every client receives the desired care and services at the requested time.
She manages the day-to-day staffing needs, along with her team in finding the right fit for our CAREGivers and their clients. Her duties include coordinating and maintaining the schedules between our CAREGivers and our clients. Karla is compassionate and dedicated to assisting both Home Instead Clients and CAREGivers.
As a longtime resident of Warren
County, OH, Karla comes to Home Instead with years of experience caring for the
senior population, as well as, owning and operating a day care for children.
Julie's role at Home Instead Senior Care is that of H.R. Coordinator. Her primary responsibility is to hire compassionate and caring CAREGivers to serve our seniors and bring them aboard with Home Instead for an in-depth training program provided onsite.
Julie comes to Home Instead with prior years experience in the home health industry. She has a good understanding of the complexities of finding a great fit between CAREGiver and Client and the importance of finding that great CAREGiver for our clients needs.

Colleen's position of "CAREGiver Engagement Coordinator" is defined as just that. She is responsible for engaging with our CAREGiver's to assure they are supported throughout their employment with Home Instead. Colleen works in partnership with the Staffing Dept. and Human Resources to convey any concerns by the caregiver, develops and implements new recruitment strategies, monitors all new hires and offers guidance, just to name a few of her duties.
Colleen serves the Mason, Ohio office, well, with her kind and friendly personality and her passion for the home health industry.
