David and Malorie Hill purchased the existing Home Instead Senior Care office in Mason, Ohio in 2012 to add to their three Home Instead Senior Care offices located in Northeast Florida. Today, their home care businesses employ well over 400 full time and part time employees and is among the largest of the Home Instead Senior Care operations, which consist of over 1,000 offices in 17 countries.
While content with his two decade long career as a counselor (David) and her various business office positions (Malorie), they decided to combine their specific areas of expertise in the growing health care field. The Hills were impressed with the professionalism and sincerity exhibited by the Home Instead Senior Care corporate staff in Omaha, Nebraska.Thus began what has turned out to be a truly rewarding adventure of developing one of the top 5 operations of Home Instead Senior Care's network of franchise business owners.
While native Buckeyes, David and Malorie have their office headquarters located in Jacksonville, FL. "We love the idea of expanding our quality-first home care business to the state where we spent over 40 years of our lives".
Taking over operations of an existing home care business can present may challenges. "We were fortunate to inherit a great office staff and an outstanding pool of CAREGivers in the Mason, Ohio office. We felt there was a tremendous opportunity to expand the Home Instead Senior Care model to a significantly large group of seniors in the southwest corner of Ohio".
Within one year of purchasing the Mason office, the number of service hours being provided to seniors in need of non-medical care and personal care services has increased 150%.

Jane is responsible for the general operations of the Ohio office; directing the team on day to day matters, educating the public on the Home Instead Senior Care services we can provide as well as what sets us apart from our competitors. With more than 30 years experience in the senior care community, she is able to guide her staff and clients to ensure they receive the best possible care.
Megan initially joined Home Instead to support
the Executive team and the accounting department with various administrative
tasks. She moved into the Accounting Specialist position, and then to her
current role as Director of Finance. Working various positions in the
Accounting Department has given her an understanding of every step of the
billing and payroll processes. CAREGivers, clients, and payors can call Megan
with any questions regarding their pay or accounts.
Cheryl is a graduate
of the College of Mount St. Joseph, Cincinnati, OH with a Bachelor of Science
in Liberal Arts. She is a long time resident of Butler County,
Ohio and an active volunteer in the community and an avid marathon
runner. Her focus is on developing new relationships, maintaining
our old relationships and educating seniors and their families about the
services Home Instead Senior Care provides to further enhance lives.
Suzanne is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration.
She is a long time resident of Warren County, and an active volunteer in the community. Her focus is on developing new relationships, maintaining our old relationships and educating seniors and their families about the services Home Instead Senior Care provides to further enhance lives.
Nancy is a Registered Nurse who comes to our Home Instead
family with a wealth of experience. Nancy’s role is to provide
specialized training for our CAREGivers. She is a graduate of California
State University with experience in the emergency department, Hospice care,
home health care as well as an instructor for training Emergency Medical
Tammi was born and raised in Cincinnati, is currently
living in Lebanon with her 3 children (20, 18, & 15). She is engaged
to be married to a wonderful man, and is looking forward to combining
their families under one roof very soon. Tammi has been in
the home health care or similar fields for most of her working career. She has
a passion for helping others and loves getting to know new people. Tammi's main
responsibility is to recruit and engage with Home Instead CAREGivers, assuring
Raven grew up in the
small town of Morrow, OH. She attended the Little Miami School District and
graduated from Little Miami High School in 2008. She currently lives in South
Lebanon with her husband of 2 years and daughter. As a family, they enjoy
visiting the Newport Aquarium, book stores, and record stores. Some of her
hobbies include painting and writing, as well as reading. Raven’s
responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating and maintaining the
day-to-day schedules between the Caregivers and Clients.
Karla, a longtime resident of Warren
County, OH, comes to Home Instead with years of experience caring for the
senior population as well as owning and operating a day care for children.
Karla is responsible for the day-to-day staffing of CAREGivers at our Mason,
Ohio office. Her responsibilities include coordinating and
maintaining the schedules between our CAREGivers and our clients. Karla
is compassionate and dedicated to assisting both Home Instead Clients and
Julie comes to Home Instead Senior Care with
years of experience working with the senior population. A long time resident
of Warren County, Julie is responsible for the day-to-day staffing of
CAREGivers at our Mason, Ohio office. Her responsibilities include
coordinating and maintaining the schedules between our CAREGivers and Clients.
Julie is Compassionate and dedicated to assisting her Home Instead Clients and
Jennifer comes to Home Instead Senior Care with years of
experience in the fields of mental health and home care. She is responsible for the
day-to-day staffing of CAREGivers at our Mason, Ohio office. Her
responsibilities include coordinating and maintaining the schedules between CAREGivers and clients. Jennifer is Compassionate and dedicated to assisting
her Home Instead clients and CAREGivers. She is a long time resident of Clinton County.
Colleen is the Director of
First Impressions. She is the first smiling face you will see once you
walk inside our office. Colleen welcomes everyone into our office
with her kind and friendly personality and is the friendly voice
answering the telephone when one calls the office. Colleen also is
responsible for CAREGiver introductions, quality assurance, and other
administrative assistance duties.
