Purchasing the business in October of 2008, we are passionate about seniors and hire Administrative Staff and CAREGivers that share in our commitment to offering caring, compassionate and loving service to your seniors.
Kendra joined the Mechanicsburg Home Instead Senior Care Team in 2012 as a Community Liaison. She grew up in Mechanicsburg and enjoys working in the county where she was raised and attended school.
Kendra is passionate about helping seniors and building relationships with all of the community referral providers.
She volunteers at Holy Spirit Hospital and delights in giving back to her home community.
When Kendra is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband, Drew, and their three sons. She enjoys baking, shopping, taking bike rides, playing with her 2 dogs and watching her sons compete in sports.
Lynne joined the Mechanicsburg Home Instead Office in 2008 as a Community Liaison. After spending over 20 years at home, she decided to use her marketing background to give back to seniors by educating the community and referral providers to the services that Home Instead can provide.
She feels privileged to work with quality case managers, social workers, nurses, admissions directors, administrators and other professionals in the business of caring for seniors.
In addition to giving back to the community by being a part of the West Shore Senior Center and SOS, and the Cheryl Kay Foundation, Lynne enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and vacationing.
Chris is a Care Manager Director for the Home Instead Senior Care in Mechanicsburg, PA. Prior to working for Home Instead, Chris worked as a business manager in the service industry.
In 2010, she learned about Home Instead while caring for her aging parents. It became clear to her that the values of Home Instead were consistent with her passion to give back to the seniors in the community. Chris joined the Mechanicsburg Home Instead family in 2013 and feels it has given her life new meaning.
Chris was born, raised and continues to call the Central Pennsylvania area her home. In her free time, Chris enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff and their spoiled puppy, Tobi.
Deb joined the Mechanicsburg Home Instead Office in 2008. She has held several positions within the company and is now an integral part of the Client Care Team as a Care Manager. In this position, Deb meets with family members and their loved ones to discuss the services that will allow them to live independently in their homes.
Deb has over 25 years of customer service and management experience. That experience, along with her passion for building relationships and caring for seniors led her to Home Instead.
She resides in York with her husband, Dave, and daughter, Brittany. In her spare time she enjoys time with her family and traveling.
Crystal joined the Home Instead Senior Care Team in 2011. Her roles have changed within the company from CAREGiver to On Call Supervisor, Staffing Coordinator and now she is a Care Manager for the Mechanicsburg Team.
Crystal loves the relationships she has with the clients, CAREGivers and the office staff. She feels fulfilled knowing that the Home Instead clients are happy, safe and well cared for.
When Crystal isn't busy working with clients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, daughter Sheilby, and son Christopher. She also enjoys watching fast pitch softball, Nascar races, scrapbooking, and many outdoor activities.
Carolyn joined Home Instead Mechanicsburg in 2016. She is the Training Coordinator and works directly with the CAREGivers to provide them the highest level of training.
Prior to joining Home Instead, Carolyn was an at-home assistant where she found her joy in caring for the elderly. She has spent many hours volunteering in schools, for charities and other civic organizations.
Carolyn is passionate about educating new CAREGivers and recognizes the importance of developing quality CAREGivers for the Home Instead clients. "I love that Home Instead Senior Care is leading the way in educating CAREGivers and I am honored to be a part of that process."
In her free time, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her three daughters & 4 pets, visiting family in Virginia and travelling.
Brooke joined the Mechanicsburg Home Instead team in 2013 as the Staffing Coordinator. She has a background in the customer service industry which allows her to be successful in this position.
She finds the task of matching CAREGivers with clients to be extremely rewarding. Offering consistency for the client by providing a compatible CAREGiver creates an environment that is beneficial to the family. Home Instead has given Brooke the opportunity to visit with some of her clients and hear firsthand how much they value her position.
In addition to working with a caring and friendly team, Brooke enjoys spending time with her family, watching her son play football, sing in the chorus and play clarinet in the band.
Tammy joined Home Instead Mechanicsburg in 2017 as a Staffing Coordinator. She works directly with clients and CAREGivers to ensure that each feel supported and that each of their needs are being met.
Prior to joining Home Instead, Tammy worked as a part-time homecare aid while she raised her children. She truly enjoyed caring for others and attended HACC to become a CNA. Tammy also found joy in enriching the lives of seniors with dementia and that led her to become an enrichment specialist.
In her free time, Tammy enjoys running, hiking and spending time with her family.
Julia joined the Home Instead Team in 2013. Her compassion towards the elderly and dedication to the Home Instead mission drives her career as an Administrative Assistant. Her family witnessed this mission and dedication first hand while Home Instead CAREGivers provided services to two loved ones.
She is a graduate of HACC with her Associates in Business Studies in and is currently attending Central Penn College to complete her Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a minor in Health Care Management. Julia also has her CNA license.
Julia lives in Mechanicsburg, PA and enjoys traveling, hiking, and playing volleyball in her free time.
Amy started with Home Instead Senior Care in 2004. She has served in several roles and currently is the Payroll Administrator. She is a 2004 graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Science.
Amy finds joy in knowing that Home Instead is impacting the community by providing quality CAREGivers and serving seniors by allowing them to stay safe and comfortable in their home.
Amy currently lives in Harrisburg with her husband and 2 young children. She enjoys baking, watching movies and running in her free time.
