Purchasing the business in October of 2008, we are passionate about seniors and hire Administrative Staff and CAREGivers that share in our commitment to offering caring, compassionate and loving service to your seniors.
Deb joined the Home Instead Senior Care Team in 2008. She is the lead Care Manager. Deb has held several positions within the company, however enjoys her current role the best, as it allows her meet with family members and their loved ones to discuss the services that will allow them to live independently in their homes. Deb consistently demonstrates her genuine desire to help the seniors in our community.
Deb has over 25 years of customer service and management experience. That experience, along with her passion for building relationships and caring for seniors led her to Home Instead.
She resides in York with her husband, Dave. In her spare time she enjoys time with her family and traveling.
Rachael joined the Home Instead Senior Care Team in 2018. She is one of the Care Managers who works with our clients and their families. Rachel's 20+ years of experience in customer service, including working with a local hospice agency make her a great fit for this position.
Rachael was drawn to Home Instead because of her personal experience when she became a caregiver for her own family, She recognized the over-whelming need in the community for there to be qualified people who find joy in building relationships and working with families the way she does.
Rachael was born and raised in Central PA. In her free time Rachael enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Barb joined the Home Instead Senior Care Team in 2018. She is one of the Care Managers who works with our clients and their families. Barb's psychology degree and 15 + years of experience caring for elderly family members, makes her a perfect fit for this position.
Barb was drawn to Home Instead because of their excellent reputation for providing quality personal care for aging individuals. She believes our aging population and their families deserve respect and quality care as they navigate the often overwhelming process of finding available services and peace of mind in knowing their loved ones are in good hands.
A native of Central PA, Barb has lived in Mechanicsburg for 29 years with her husband, Len. She enjoys spending time with their 3 sons, their dog and grand dog. In her spare time she likes being with her friends, singing in her church choir, baking, reading and taking walks.
Carolyn joined the Home Instead Senior Care Team in 2016. She is the Training and Enrichment Coordinator and works directly with the CAREGivers to provide them the highest level of training.
Prior to joining Home Instead, Carolyn was an at-home assistant where she found her joy in caring for the elderly. She has spent many hours volunteering in schools, for charities and other civic organizations.
Carolyn is passionate about educating new CAREGivers and recognizes the importance of developing quality CAREGivers for the Home Instead clients. "I love that Home Instead Senior Care is leading the way in educating CAREGivers and I am honored to be a part of that process."
In her free time, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her three daughters & 4 pets, visiting family in Virginia and travelling.
Julia joined the Home Instead Senior Care Team in 2013. She is the Hiring Coordinator working in the Human Resources department. Julia has held several positions while working with the company and finds the Hiring position to be one of her most rewarding positions.
Julia remains committed to serving the eldery through consistent open communication with the CAREGivers and hearing their stories. Her personal experience, witnessing first-hand the mission and dedication of the Home Instead CAREGivers providing services to two of her loved ones keeps Julia grounded in this industry. She is a graduate of HACC with her Associates in Business Studies.
Julia lives locally and enjoys traveling, hiking, sports and hanging out with friends in her spare time.
Crystal joined the Home Instead Senior Care Team in 2011. She is the Service Manager, overseeing a team of service coordinators and on-call staff. While Crystal's role has changed several times over the course of her career with the company, it is scheduling she enjoys most.
Crystal loves the relationships she has with the clients, CAREGivers and the office staff. She feels fulfilled knowing that the Home Instead clients are well cared for, happy and safe.
When Crystal isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, daughter Shelby, and son Christopher. She also enjoys watching fast pitch softball and Nascar races, scrapbooking, and many outdoor activities.
Brooke joined the Home Instead Senior Care Team in 2013. She is a Service Coordinator, spending her day building client and CAREGiver schedules. Brooke has a strong background in the customer service industry which includes training and mentoring other staff members. This experience has proven to be invaluable in her current service role.
Brooke finds the task of matching CAREGivers with clients to be extremely rewarding. Offering consistency for the client by providing a compatible CAREGiver creates an environment that is beneficial to the family. Home Instead has given Brooke the opportunity to visit with some of her clients and hear first-hand how much they value her.
Outside of the office, Brooke enjoys spending time with her family, watching her son play football, sing in the chorus and play clarinet in the band.
Danielle joined the Home Instead Senior Care Team in 2017. She is the On-Call Supervisor, working primarily on the weekends. She has resided in the West Shore area for the last 15 years.
Danielle has 25+ years' experience working in the health care industry. She held previous positions as an Emergency Medical Technician for the State of Pennsylvania and as an Instructor for Medical Assisting and Medical Building and Coding.
Danielle was raised by her grandparents and having firsthand knowledge of the elderly population will make her successful in her current role.
In her spare time, you can find Danielle spending time with her only daughter, watching her play softball and reading a good book.
Jon joined the Home Instead Senor Care Team in 2017. He is the Administrative Assistant for our CAREGivers. Jon recently graduated Penn State with his Bachelor of Arts Degree. His previous positions were working in the customer service industry having direct contact with the public.
In this new role, Jon supports each department with various tasks to ensure a meaningful experience with clients and CAREGivers through effective and efficient communication. Jon is a sound problem solver, often times handling issues on first contact. Jon's education and previous work experience are ideal for this role.
During his free time, Jon enjoys travelling, sailing, working out, and spending time with his family.
Amy started with Home Instead Senior Care in 2004. She has served in several roles and currently is the Payroll Administrator. She is a 2004 graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Science.
Amy finds joy in knowing that Home Instead is impacting the community by providing quality CAREGivers and serving seniors by allowing them to stay safe and comfortable in their home.
Amy currently lives in Harrisburg with her husband and 2 young children. She enjoys baking, watching movies and running in her free time.
