The need for in-home senior care services doesn't always arise between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on a weekday. That's why our team stands ready to serve you any day of the week, at any hour of the day or night. You can always reach us by phone at (615) 831-2358 to get help setting up home care for a family member.

We have come together as a group of dedicated professionals to deliver a home care solution that meets your needs. We employ trained, screened and bonded CAREGiversSMto serve your family's senior loved one with compassion and devotion.


​​​ ​​ CAREGiver Ambassadors   Our team of CAREGiver Ambassadors are here to respond to urgent needs that may arise day or night.  There are a variety of situations in which our CAREGiver Ambassadors help us ensure the upmost quality of care and responsiveness.  On any given day a CAREGiver may experience an emergency and be unable to make it to their client's home.  In this case we deploy our CAREGiver Ambassador to arrive on time to ensure the client never goes without care.  In addition, they assist our CAREGivers with extra support in the home when a client has a particularly challenging day.  We are grateful for our CAREGiver Ambassadors and the vital role they play as members of our team.

Home Instead Senior Care as a team is a group of people on a mission to help others and that is very personal. We all have been given free choice regarding our careers and this team has collectively chosen to help seniors and their families. I love what we do and I take seriously the trust that is bestowed upon us by each family that asks Home Instead to help."

 

Originally from Glasgow, Kentucky, Brad has a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Kentucky University.  Brad is also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and a licensed nursing home administrator in Kentucky and Florida.  Before purchasing the Home Instead Senior Care franchise, Brad was a nursing home administrator for 7 years.  Brad has served on Home Instead Senior Care’s franchise exchange council and has also served as the Chairperson for the Bowling Green Walk to End Alzheimer’s for the past 3 years.​

Every minute of every day I can think to myself—right now a Home Instead Senior Care CAREGiver is helping a senior stay in the comfort of their home. Not Monday through Friday, not every other weekend, and not just during normal business hours but every minute of every day we are making a difference! And this can only be done by a team of individuals who are on a mission to help others. I am grateful to work with such a wonderful team of CAREGivers and administrative team members who live each day with the mission to help seniors stay home, wherever home may be."

 

Emily has a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University in Health Care Administration. She is also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). Before joining Home Instead Senior Care she was a college student looking to make a difference. She began as a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care in Bowling Green, Kentucky and provided over 2,700 hours of direct care to seniors. Within a few months of experiencing the difference of being a CAREGiver firsthand, she changed her degree from Psychology to Health Care Administration so she could pursue her dream of leading a Home Instead Senior Care organization. After three years as the Director of Human Resources for Home Instead Senior Care in Bowling Green, Kentucky, she was blessed to have an opportunity to oversee the Franklin and Columbia offices in 2012. In 2016 she was given the opportunity to oversee the Nashville organization and is happy to have found a home here as well.

Even the smallest things we do here can make a huge difference to the person we are helping and their families. I really look forward to coming to work every day. One of my favorite things is hearing from CAREGivers and clients alike when they are so grateful of the match I made for them."

Jessi grew up in Virginia and moved to Tennessee three years ago. She has worked at customer service jobs since she was old enough to begin working, but never felt like she was doing enough actual service. After years of doing what she could to help customers in a call center she came to Home Instead Senior Care to help customers in a more personal way. Jessi started working with Home Instead as a CAREGiver in early 2015. After connecting with so many seniors and their families as a CAREGiver she was promoted to the Staffing Coordinator position in October of 2015 and is currently our Greater Nashville Area Lead Staffing Coordinator. She now works to help seniors and their families find the CAREGivers that can connect with them. She is continuing her education at Columbia State Community College working towards a degree in International Business and is currently learning a third language. She hopes to use these skills to help and connect with more cultural backgrounds in our community and in communities around the world.​​

Loraine joined our Home Instead Senior Care family in 2010.  As a CAREGiver she received the “Heart in Hand” award three times.  In addition to providing exceptional care, Loraine has earned her Medical Assisting Certification, Associates Degree in Science and Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Management. She is currently earning her Master’s in Applied Management. Her big heart, her positive attitude and enthusiasm make her a perfect addition to our team.​

We are proud to have Loraine on our team assisting our clients with their immediate care needs.  Not only do we have a team of administrators who are responsive to care needs, we have two dedicated team members available to assist with same day/ next day care requests.  Loraine's ability to problem solve in an urgent matter is what makes her so special and an exceptional team member.

Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because we can provide care to seniors while allowing them the opportunity to stay in their homes and live as independently as possible. It is important to me that our team hire the best CAREGivers possible to provide a sense of comfort and companionship to our clients and their families 24 hours a day. It is such a blessing to know that our team has an impact on the everyday lives of these clients as we brighten their day!

Heather grew up in Adairville, KY, just across the Tennessee state line. She studied for both her undergraduate degree and master’s degree in Health Care Administration at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY.  During her undergraduate studies in 2011 Heather completed an internship with Home Instead Senior Care as the Recruitment Coordinator. After college she became a Practice Manager at the local hospital.  In December 2017 she moved to Nashville, TN, where her path quickly lead her back to Home Instead Senior Care as the Greater Nashville Area Human Resource Director.

Melissa was born in California but raised in Florida. At an early age Melissa knew she wanted to help care for others. While other 19-year-olds were avoiding entering the real world, Melissa dropped everything to help care for her aunt and prepare her home after a heart transplant. It wouldn’t be until Melissa’s father became sick and passed away that she would truly know what she wanted to do in life. Melissa joined the Home Instead Senior Care team in 2016 as a CAREGiver. She loves learning more about what seniors are going through and what she can do to help comfort them and their families.

Home Instead Senior Care is Personal to me, because it is just like the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Treat everyone with the dignity and respect they deserve. I am thankful that God has given me a heart to serve others and I do not take this lightly. It is an honor to be able to spend time with our precious seniors and let them know how important they are and how much they are loved. I am also so blessed to now be a part of the administrative team. It is a privileged to be part of the Home Instead family.

Debbie was born and raised in Michigan and has lived in Tennessee since 1995, when she married her wonderful husband, Dave. They will be celebrating 23 years of marriage this September.  She has always taken care of people. She taught preschool for 14 years and worked with mentally challenged individuals for several years in Michigan. She currently lives in Santa Fe, TN, right in the middle of 42 peaceful acres of land. She feels blessed with her life - not without troubles or heartache - but truly blessed!

To personally touch people's lives and give families peace of mind and support is the most fulfilling calling you can answer. We answer that call every day.”

Emily earned her undergraduate degree from Asbury College and her Master’s Degree in Business and Organizational Communication from Western Kentucky University.  Emily provides consultation services to the Home Care Consultants in Kentucky and Tennessee.  She ensures continuity of sales executions, public relations and community education programs.  Emily worked in direct sales for Home Instead Senior Care for eight years before moving to a consulting role. ​


Amanda Watt, Home Care Specialist

"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because it allows me the opportunity to ensure others' happiness. Since 2004 I have been working with Home Instead clients and their families to coordinate, manage and facilitate the highest quality care possible, while maintaining the senior’s wishes to remain at home and as independent as possible. To work with clients and their families on such a personal level feels much more like a calling than a profession."

Amanda began her tenure with Home Instead Senior Care as a CAREGiver in 2004. She has served in several administrative capacities and after nearly ten years in the Quality Assurance Department, Amanda was promoted to the Director of Operations. As our Director of Operations, Amanda was responsible for overseeing our Client Care Department as well as our Staffing Department. In November 2016, Amanda transitioned to become our General Manager where she oversaw total operations of our Bowling Green office.  Currently she now serves as our Home Care Specialist throughout the Nashville and Middle TN region.  She takes great pride in the quality of our care and wants every client and CAREGiver to be delighted with our company. Amanda is also our Long Term Care Insurance specialist and oversees all of our courtesy billing and questions.​​

​Donna joined the Home Instead Senior Care team in January 2008. She oversees the billing and payroll for our regional franchises. She works hard to ensure that every detail of our client’s invoices and our CAREGiver’s paychecks are correct. Donna counts it a joy to work for a company that is truly all about helping others. Donna is married and has two wonderful children. She enjoys cooking, serving at her church, and lazy days on the lake with her family.


Jennifer Callison, Regional Accounting Specialist

Jennifer was born and raised in Campbellsville, Kentucky.  She joined Home Instead in 2009 after being a stay at home mom for 12 years.  She transitioned to our a​dministrative team where she was the Communications Engineer for 6 years. She has since transitioned to her current role of Regional Accounting Specialist where she is responsible Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, 401K and helping clients and their families with billing questions.​

Mary joined Home Instead Senior Care in August 2016 as our Regional Billing Specialist. She is responsible for the billing for our three franchise offices. Mary and her husband Ben have a wonderful daughter named Leah. She and her family have been caregivers to several of their own family members. Mary is excited to be a part of a business that truly serves others and helps them remain in their homes, providing a helping hand in their journey of life. She enjoys spending time with her family and going to church.​​

Jamie joined the Home Instead Senior Care family in March 2001 as a CAREGiver. Since October 2001 she has served in a variety of administrative roles.  She joined our Home Instead Senior Care team in October 2017 as  Regional Billing Specialist. She is proud to provide billing and payroll support to the five franchises.
