"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because every day, 24 hours a day, we have the opportunity to make an impact on the life of a senior and their loved ones. Every minute of every day I can think to myself—right now a Home Instead Senior Care CAREGiver is helping a senior stay in the comfort of their home. Not Monday through Friday, not every other weekend, and not just during normal business hours but every minute of every day we are making a difference! And this can only be done by a team of individuals who are on a mission to help others. I am grateful to work with such a wonderful team of CAREGivers and administrative team members who live each day with the mission to help seniors stay home, wherever home may be."

Emily has a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University in Health Care Administration. She is also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). Jamie Aguilar, Director of Operations

Jamie Aguilar, Director of Operations

"Home Instead Senior Care is personal to me because it embodies all I have ever thought about caregiving. CAREGivers are acknowledged, rewarded and educated to be the best they can be to make a difference. I contribute my knowledge and my heart to individuals who have a heart to care. My ability to help CAREGivers understand what a client is going through allows them to provide the best care without taking their client’s frustrations personally."

Jamie moved back to Nashville from Dallas to care for her grandmother. While caring for her grandmother, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, her grandfather’s Congestive Heart Failure began effecting his quality of life. Jamie now cares for her ex-husband, who has vascular dementia.  The quality care she provided for her grandparents and her mother earned her the Middle Tennessee Alzheimer’s Association Family Caregiver of the Year award in 2003. Jamie’s professional experience, passion for telling others about senior care and attention to detail make her an excellent addition to our team. Since joining us in 2014, she has uplifted us and keeps our focus on the main thing…Relationships.
