​Jonathan has for the last nine years devoted his career to Senior Care in the Pacific Northwest. He is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and has served at various facilties from Seattle, WA to Porland, OR and immediately prior to purchasing Home Instead he was the Director of Operations at Bend Transitional Care. Jonathan has a heart for service and enjoys the opportunity to keep our communities loved one Home Instead.

Jonathan is Married with two children and enjoys skiing, golf and coaching baseball in his spare time.

I am very excited to be part of a team that is dedicated to the senior population of our community by providing them the quality care that they deserve.

As the Staffing Coordinator I enjoy matching CAREGivers and clients and creating long-lasting relationships between the two.

I have over 10 years of Staffing experience working for a local Temporary Staffing Agency and most recently I owned and operated an In-Home Childcare Business.

I grew up on the Oregon Coast and moved to Central Oregon in 2000. My husband and I have two children ages 7 & 9 and two dogs.  In my spare time I enjoy, camping, boating, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

My name is Courtney and I am so blessed to be the Human Resources coordinator at Home Instead. It is my pleasure to fine tune our corporate compliance and staff engagement to ensure top quality resources for our team. 

I have two years of experience working in administration with Home Instead and another two years with a home care company in my Native North Carolina. I know the importance of hiring a great team of people to work with our aging population. I have seen firsthand the difference that great CAREGivers can make in the lives of the elderly, and it is so rewarding to have to opportunity to create those relationships.

In my spare time I love hiking with my dogs, practicing yoga, reading, and knitting.

​I was born and raised in Southern Oregon, and moved to Bend in 2005. I started working for Home Instead Senior Care as a CAREGiver in April of 2009 and was shortly after invited to join the office team. I get to work with a team of amazing co workers and community partners who truly CARE for the aging population of our community. 

April A.- Recruitment and Retention

​Born and raised second generation Central Oregonian. Attended college at both OSU and U of O, I am a true Platypus 😊 I have four children, two sons & two daughters, ages 28-19. Newly engaged to my high school best friend and will be adding two more sons to my family. Joined HISC as a CG and then promoted into office as RRC. So excited to be finally using part of my degree in Child Psychology after spending 23 years in the finance/banking field!

Nicole R.- Recruitment and Retention

​Montana and Colorado are my home states, but I have been lucky to journey through Oregon since 2014. After working in the insurance industry, I decided it was time for a change. Discovering my passion for senior care has been life changing. I currently work as a recruitment and retention coordinator, which is extremely rewarding and fulfilling. Our team is a family that has been gifted with working with seniors and CAREGivers. I am thankful to be a part of something that gives me purpose.

I joined Home Instead in February of 2013, and currently work as a Client Care Coordinator. I have been in the health care field for 20 years. I enjoy working with clients, their families and our caregivers to ensure that quality and consistency are delivered. 

Having been a caregiver for many years I’m well aware of the caregivers’ needs and will be willing to assist them to create a pleasant experience. I’m here to support our clients are caregivers so if you have questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to call or stop by. 

When not at work I enjoy spending my time with my husband and 4 kids. We take pleasure in camping, hunting, and watching the kids participate in their sporting events.

Maddie P.- Client Care Coordinator

Hi, I'm Maddie. I moved from Colorado about a year and a half ago after graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Psychology. I  have experience working as a CNA and caregiver. Working with Seniors has always been a passion of mine and HISC has truly changed my outlook when looking towards the future of Senior Care.

Working as a Client Care Coordinator has been by far the most rewarding experience I have ever had. My favorite part of this job is seeing the progress between our clients and caregivers from the start of care to their current state.

When I am not in the office I love to go  backpacking, be with my friends and boyfriend and explore Central Oregon.

​Hi, I’m Karen. I am a native Oregonian born and raised in Prineville. I have two grown sons and four grandchildren.

I also have a very spoiled mini Doxy named Rudy.

I started working as a CAREGiver for Home Instead Senior Care in 2011, after caring for my mother for 3 ½ yrs.

Working with seniors is a very rewarding occupation and I enjoy it very much. I feel honored to say that I am now a part of the office staff and am also enjoying that very much.

Spending time with my family is my main priority. I like to read a lot, mostly mystery and suspense novels.

I also like to watch scary movies. When I have the chance I like to go camping and 4-wheeling.I also like to work in the yard planting flowers and pulling weeds.

After taking care of my aging grandfather in his final days, it was then that I found my passion of caring for seniors. I moved to Bend to be closer to my grandkids and became a CAREgiver for Home Instead. After a couple of years as a CAREgiver I was asked to join the office staff as a receptionist/weekend supervisor and eventually onto the roll of a scheduler. I love my job and making a difference in our seniors lives. 

Outside of work I love to spend time with my grandsons. I enjoy going to watch all their sports activities and during the summer we spend a lot of time outdoors and at the lakes enjoying the  beauty of Central Oregon.

Audrey R.- Staffing Coordinator

​I joined the Home Instead team as a Staffing Coordinator about six months ago after serving as the Assistant Volunteer Coordinator for one of the hospice organizations in Central Oregon, and am happy to continue matching seniors with qualified and loving caregivers. I have a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Sonoma State University and look forward to a career dedicated to benefitting under-served populations. When not at work, I am very involved in Central Oregon's theater community as an actor and director, and also enjoy spending time with my friends and family, cooking, reading, and traveling.

Pamela M. - Registered Nurse

I am thrilled to be part of the Home Instead team. I have been a nurse for nearly four decades and caregiving is my passion. I have worked in neurosurgery, psychiatry, medicine, home health and emergency, and as a college instructor. I love people and service to them which led me to several years in seminary.

I am a native of the Adirondack Mountains, but spent most of my life in Seattle where I raised two sons, who are now parents. I am blessed with four grandchildren with whom I cherish hiking, paddling & skiing.

I also have an MFA in creative writing & have published poems & essays which have become part of my memoir-in- progress.

Hi, I’m Tina.  I have just recently had the pleasure of joining the Home Instead Senior Care team as the Accounting Specialist.  I am very excited and proud to be a part of the HISC family.
I was born in Oregon, raised in California and moved back to Oregon over 20 years ago.   I have three wonderful children and 6 grandchildren.  I am very involved in family and feel very lucky to have my kids and parents all in Central Oregon.  Since my kids are all grown my Pek-a-Pom Sofia and cat Chloe get most of my attention these days.
I enjoy cuddling with my fur babies watching movies (mostly comedies), football and my favorite TV show “Friends”.  I also enjoy spending lots of time with family.  With six grandkids there is never a dull moment!!

Natalie H. - Reception and On-Call Coordination

​Hi, I'm Natalie. I was born in Portland Oregon and raised in Central Oregon. My husband of 16 years and I have a 13 year old Son. We enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, football, and just spending time together outdoors. My passion has always been to  helping others.  I started out working for Home Instead as a Caregiver and now I'm excited to be in the office as a Reception and On-Call Coordination. With over 5 years of office experience and 3 years of banking, I'm looking forward to being back in the office.  I'm currently working on my Pharmacy Technician Certification. I look forward to bring my Certification to Home Instead 😊.
