Home Instead Senior Care is proudly participating in the Be a Santa to a Senior program again this year. Our success relies on the generosity of the community to provide gifts to lonely and isolated seniors in the Southeast Valley. This program is near and dear to our hearts, and we cherish the opportunity to give back in a meaningful way.

Many people are impacted by the bumpy economy, but for seniors – who typically live on a fixed income – this is especially true. We have partnered  with the Veteran’s Administration and East Valley Adult Resources to identify gift requests from seniors who are in need of the very basics…items such as slippers, blankets or groceries.

The success of our program is based on involvement from the community. We urge you to provide a gift to a local senior in need; trees with ornaments bearing gift requests can be found at the Southern/Superstition Springs Wal-Mart and Walgreens locations throughout the Southeast Valley. Visit the Be a Santa to a Senior website to find a location near you. We are extremely grateful for the support of these retailers – we couldn’t make this possible without them!

If you live outside the area, the program is happening in various locations across the country. Visit www.beasantatoasenior.com, enter your ZIP code and find the tree location nearest you.

We wish everybody a happy holiday season!
