"I am continually struck by the professionalism, high level of caring and exemplary caregivers that I have met from Home Instead. My mom couldn't live without them, and neither could I.
Peggy and her husband are originally from Pennsylvania, where they raised two sons. Now they have a daughter-in-law and a grandson who is now one! They are very proud of him! Peggy worked several years in a customer service position prior to her arrival at the Home Instead in Winchester, VA. She started as a CAREGiver and after demonstrating exceptional CAREGiver abilities, was promoted to Recruitment and Retention Assistant and then Client Care Coordinator. She taught Alzheimer's training classes to CAREGivers and family caregivers, performed care consultations, visited clients, and handles client concerns. Peggy's genuine care and concern for seniors and passion for her work has proved her a great fit for our team in the position of Client Care Coordinator in South Carolina. She will have the same responsibilities she performed so well in Virginia. She enjoys physical fitness and also strives to live a healthy lifestyle. We are so very fortunate Peggy and her husband moved to South Carolina and she found her way to our Home Instead family!
Susan is glad to be a part of Home Instead Senior Care! Originally from upstate New York; she has lived and traveled in many parts of the United States due to her husband's position with the government. Susan also served 10 years in the Army as an Army nurse. She has two sons; both living out west and three beautiful grandchildren. She is now settled in Pooler, Ga. where she enjoys playing tennis and traveling.
Susan has over 30 years of nursing with 20 of those years working in the long term care field. She has held various leadership roles by providing the necessary oversight and guidance to ensure each resident received the highest quality of care.
Nursing has always been Susan's passion in life. She has had a strong desire to provide compassionate care to all those she has cared for over the years. We are so glad Susan wants to continue this philosophy by caring for seniors here at Home Instead Senior Care!
Sandi has been a part of Home Instead Senior Care, sharing her caring and compassionate heart as a CAREGiver since September of 2009. Quality care has always been very important to Sandy who spent 43 years as a registered nurse. Several years ago, she decided to retire, but found she still wanted to serve. Becoming a CAREGiver gave her that opportunity, just at a little slower and less demanding pace. Now, as our nurse, with our focus on the quality of care we provide, Sandy is a perfect fit. It is our good fortune that she has decided to step back into a nursing role.

Gina was raised by her grandparents from a young age in Ohio. She loves spending time with family and friends and is very family oriented! As a child, she and her sister enjoyed cooking, planning dinners, events and parties with her grandfather who was the VFW Commander, a U.S. Army Veteran and Purple Heart recipient. Gina always had a close relationship with her grandmother with whom she shared a love of the arts. They attended many concerts, symphonies, plays & ballets together. After High School Gina followed in her grandfather's footsteps and joined the Army, where she met Tony, her wonderful husband of 16 years. They have 2 beautiful children together, travelled and lived in many states across the U.S. including 4 times in GA. She has been a preschool teacher, a live-in nanny and a caregiver both privately and with Home Instead. She enjoys writing poetry, cooking, making homemade natural products and herbal teas for her friends and family. Gina has a true passion for helping others. She started volunteering as a child in retirement homes with her grandfather and nursing homes with her church. The desire to help others continues into adulthood where she has volunteered in her children's' classrooms, drama club and cheer teams. She served with AmeriCorps (Service to Armed Forces), the American Red Cross and with her children by her side for Potter's Hands (feeding the homeless) and the Health Department's Youth Coalition Program. Gina is eternally grateful for the opportunity to continue serving others through her Home Instead Senior Care family!
