Michelle Rogers, Owner

​​Michelle Rogers grew up in the Bay Area and has more than 30 years experience as a business and community leader. She had a successful 26-year career in marketing and sales within the technology sector. Michelle then acquired the South Peninsula Home Instead Senior Care franchise, founded in 1997, five years ago after deciding she wanted to be involved in providing services that would support people in the community. Her CAREGivers provide non-medical, in-home services to seniors in Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Atherton, Portola Valley, Woodside, Redwood City, San Carlos, and Belmont, Calif. Michelle feels honored to witness firsthand how Home Instead Senior Care services impact elders in a positive manner.


Nikki Hochhauser - Director of Business Development, Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)

Nikki Hochhauser - Director of Business Development, Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)

​​In her Business Development managerial role, Nikki meets with clients and their families to design a personalized plan of care. She also builds effective partnerships with professionals who are part of service organizations important to seniors, such as hospitals, senior centers and other senior resources. Additionally, Nikki organizes networking events and fundraisers for nonprofit groups in the community. Previously, Nikki, who has been in the health-care industry for seven years, was the Executive Director at the San Luis Obispo County Medical Association. She has a strong passion for dogs, football, her family and friends. Nikki also holds a bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in marketing from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.


Jenifer Martinez - Director of Operations

Jenifer Martinez - Director of Operations

​​Jenifer runs the business' day-to-day operations, including overseeing the training program and assisting with hiring, scheduling and payroll. Jenifer, who has worked at Home Instead Senior Care for seven years, also is responsible for service quality and ensures that company promises to clients and CAREGivers are being fulfilled. She holds a bachelor's degree in behavorial sciences from San Jose State University. In her free time, Jenifer enjoys exploring the world through travel, cheering on her favorite hockey team, taking on home improvements, and camping.


Kris Jocson - Bookkeeper/On-call Coordinator

Kris Jocson - Bookkeeper/On-call Coordinator

​​Kris' previous experience in home care proved important in his current role as bookkeeper and on-call coordinator. He held similar roles for a home-care agency in New Jersey and also worked at a pediatrics office in that state. Kris earned a degree in business administration from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines. When he's not working, Kris enjoys playing billiards and Xbox 360 games along with watching movies. Kris also cherishes seeing his wife and son in his native Philippines.​


Janal Martinez - On-call Coordinator

Janal Martinez - On-call Coordinator

Janal manages any client & CAREGiver needs that arise during after-hours. She assists with administrative tasks and staffing as well. Janal loves Disneyland, and tries to go to the park as much as she can. She also likes spending time with family, friends and her two dogs, Belle and Jackie.

​Renee is our administrative assistant. Renee is a jack of all trades. When you call our office most likely you will be greeted by Renee. Renee recently graduated from Arizona State University and we are very fortunate to have her on our team.​

Eulene Granadosin - Recruiter Extraordinaire

​Eulene is responsible for hiring our CAREGivers. She joined our team after spending 20 years in the educational community. She is very focused and detailed oriented.​​


Emmy Valiani - Care Manager

Emmy Valiani - Care Manager

Emmy started out as a caregiver providing assistance to seniors in the comfort of their own homes. Loving what she did, she decided to continue her journey in the medical field and went back to school to become a Registered Medical Assistant. While working as a medical assistant she developed a passion for health care management. It was at this time that she decided to get her bachelors in Health Care Management. She will finish her course of study in the fall of 2017. Emmy is our Care Manager, she will assist you and your family throughout the process of developing a plan of care that suites your needs. In her free time, she enjoys movie nights with her husband, traveling and eating out at new restaurants.​

 


Sandra Garcia - Scheduling

Sandra Garcia - Scheduling

​Sandra loves to go out and walk with her family dog and play with her cats. Enjoys playing online video games and watch movies. Loves to travel and tries to go out to explore as much as possible. Enjoys spending time with her family and loves to play sports preferably tennis, volleyball and soccer. ​
