Dave Thommarson - Owner

Dave Thommarson - Owner Dave is a U.S. Navy Submarine Veteran who earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwest Missouri State University in 1979.

Dave was in manufacturing supervision and management for a Fortune 250 Company and a Fortune 100 Company for nearly 30 years before Home Instead Senior Care. There were many rich experiences during those years in corporate America, but Bonnie recently remarked... Now we're not just making parts.

The kudos from corporate customers about meeting quality and shipping goals were nice but pale in comparison to the sense of accomplishment felt when we realize how much of a difference our team has made to the lives of families in crisis mode.

She looks forward to providing family care giver workshops to assist families in meeting the needs of their loved ones this fall. Bonnie seeks out the best CAREGivers to be found, trained, and matched with just the right client who needs assistance from a CAREGiver willing to provide, personal care, safety, security and friendship and a time of respite for families.

She says, "My job is hard, but I love what we are doing in making a difference in the lives of the elderly in Durham".
