Austin has a long history with Home Instead Senior Care.
His parents, Don and Laurie Reid, bought the franchise office in
Ventura County in 1997. He grew up in a culture of service and respect
for seniors in the community.
Austin began working
with the Home Instead team in 2001 after school. Since that time, he
has worked in just about every position there is. He has worked in
recruiting, scheduling, networking, and even care management. As the
Operations Manager, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the
business. He is the go-to man for any problem and is always looking for
a great way to further communicate the Home Instead story.
Michael has worked with Home Instead Senior Care since 2013. In the past he worked in administration of an emergency room, also inpatient and outpatient services and a trained crisis counselor. Michael is able to identify the particular issues that arise with an aging population and office support to our clients. With a sensitivity to these topics, Michael is able to work with our Caregiving team to bring a greater understanding of client needs. He also works closely with family members to ensure quality of care and peace of mind in their decision to use home care. Michael enjoys working with a collaborative team dedicated to improving the lives of seniors.
Michael is responsible for conducting care consultations for new or potential cients. The purpose of the care coordinator is to discuss home care and service care needs, routines, likes, dislikes, challenges, etc. Then Michael takes the information gathered during your discussion and creates a care plan that will be used to create schedules and assist in finding the perfect CAREGiver!
Megan began with Home Instead Senior Care as a Caregiver in 2007. She has a degree in performing arts and social justice. She also worked as a respite caregiver for Channel Islands Social Services. She is First Aid Certified and has hands on experience with elderly dementia and alzheimer patients.
Megan manages our Quality Assurance program to continuously improve and exceed client and family member expectations of care. Megan assists our office staff to answer questions and provide home care recomendations as clients needs change.
Lona has worked for Home Instead Senior Care since 2006 after a sales and marketing position with the local Chamber of Commerce. She is the face of Home Instead Senior Care in the community. She will keep you updated on Home Instead Senior Care and ensure that you have the appropriate literature resources available to share. Lona will work with you or your staff to make sure that you are educated about Home Instead Senior Care services and the solutions we provide.
