Welcome to Home Instead Senior Care! We are looking for caring, compassionate & dedicated CAREGiver’s to join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allows people to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Companionship and conversation
  • Light housekeeping tasks (vacuum, wet mop, dust, laundry, etc.)
  • Meal preparation
  • Transportation
  • Reminders (medication, appointments, etc.)
  • Dementia Care, Hospice care support


Requirements to be a CAREGiver

  • Must be dependable, possess an excellent attitude and the ability follow instructions.
  • Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Ability to communicate with all team members of Home Instead, clients and their family members in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach
  • Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
  • Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
  • Ability to drive to work site locations
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
  • Ability to drive up to a 25 mile radius
  • Ability to commit to 12 hours per week

Home Instead Senior Care, the Nation's foremost provider of non-medical in-home care located in Ellicott City, MD is seeking an organized, dependable and customer service focused Recruitment & Engagement Coordinator. This position is Full Time and works with the HR Administrator in Recruiting, Interviewing, Training, On-boarding, Quality Assurance and Other duties as assigned.This position is Full Time. 

Candidate needs to enjoy working in a fast paced changing environment and have a desire to build relationships with current and potential CAREGivers. Must be motivated and possess strong proficiencies in customer service, excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, multi-tasking and general computer skills.

Ability to communicate effectively, plan, organize and prioritize task, respond promptly to emails and phone query’s, answer multi line phone, knowledge of use of office equipment, knowledge of Microsoft Office.
