Home Instead Senior Care Featured on Forbes’ 2017 Best Employers ListOMAHA, Neb. – May 9, 2017 – Forbes' third annual "America's Best Employers" list has named Home Instead Senior Care one of its best employers for 2017. The list was generated using anonymous feedback from employees at the nation's top employers.

Companies on the Best Employers' list range across 25 different industry sectors – from government services to retail to healthcare. While the 2017 list featured a variety of healthcare companies, Home Instead is the only provider of home care services for seniors.

Our Caregivers are bonded, insured, trained, supervised, and screened (including criminal background checks).

We are looking for energetic and dependable Caregivers and CNA's who are willing to help senior citizens. At Home Instead, there are a few requirements that we implement in our hiring process. The requirements are:
  •  Must have two years of care giving experience
  •  Must have a Tennessee or Mississippi Driver’s License or state I.D.
  •  Must have a Social Security Card or Birth Certificate
  •  Must have three work references and three personal references
  •  Must be able to pass a background check
  •  Must be able to pass a drug screen
  •  Must have a vehicle or reliable transportation
  •  Must have insurance on your vehicle
  •  Must take a Tuberculosis Test
  •  Must be flexible with hours

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.    Home Instead Senior Care also provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home.

PLEASE NOTE: FOR THIS CNA POSITION, YOU MUST HAVE A  CURRENT CNA LICENSE/CERTIFICATE
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Hours are 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am.  Other shifts may be possible but open availability is best.   
  • Feeding/Bathing/ Personal Care Needs /Dressing Patients
  • Possibly help setting up Medical equipment & to assist with some medical procedures
  • Answering calls for help if placed in a Nursing Home/Rehabilitation facility
  • Observing any changes in patients behaviors and routines
  • Taking patient vital signs, ex. Blood Pressure
  • Ensuring they are treated with care and compassion and their needs are continuously being met.
