Shanna's role: Shanna's first experience with Home Instead Senior Care was in 2007 when she worked as the Community Service Representative for a local North Carolina Home Instead office. While working with the seniors in that market, her passion for the industry rapidly grew. When the opportunity presented itself to open an office in the Lexington area in 2008, she knew it was a great chance to share her passion with the wonderful people of Davidson and Davie Counties. She has since dedicated her career to providing the best care to the seniors in this area and positioning Home Instead Senior Care as an employer of choice. Her role is to offer support and guidance to our community, Clients, CAREGivers, and staff members to ensure a quality care and employment experience at all times.
A little about Shanna: While battling dementia for several years, my grandmother lived with me and used Home Instead Senior Care services. This was a unique opportunity for me because I was able to see things through a different set of eyes. Not only was I the Home Instead Senior Care business owner, but now also the family member that was putting all my trust in my grandmother's CAREGiver. After that experience of "being on the other side," I now personally know how important our care becomes to seniors and their families. This is one reason our office is so committed to making a quality difference in the lives of seniors in our community. With just a little assistance from one of our CAREGivers, seniors can thrive in their homes longer than ever before. If Home Instead Senior Care is not the option for you, we encourage you to call still so that we may assist you and your loved ones in finding the right care provider. It's a privilege to help our seniors in this stage of their life, and for 12 years now we have seen so many lives changed by our services, including mine. My promise to you is that my team and I will work tirelessly to provide the best care experience for you and your loved ones. To us, it's personal! Thank you for the opportunity to work with your family.
Fun Fact: Shanna grew up in Switzerland and spent her early years skiing the alps and traveling with her family! "Ich liebe es zu reisen"
What it means to be a Certified Senior Advisor: When you work with a professional who has added the Certified Senior Advisor designation to their credentials, you know you are working with someone who has invested time and effort to learning about the things that are important to you. CSAs become CSAs because they want to learn more about the health, financial and social aspects of being age 55 or older. They have made specific efforts to earn your trust, and they have committed to ongoing CSA continuing education standards that encourage volunteering for activities that help seniors and that require regular training in dealing with the issues facing seniors today. Insist on working with a Certified Senior Advisor; work with someone who is committed to you!

In addition to over 20 years of marriage, my husband, Trent, and I have two children and a blue Dutch rabbit named Marble! I worked independently as a caregiver for 11 years before starting at Home Instead in September 2018. Christina's Role: There is a lot that goes into providing excellent service, and Christina works hard to ensure that each client receives the quality care that they deserve. When you are interested in Home Instead services, Christina is one of two Care Coordinators that will come out and speak with your family, at no cost or obligation, about our services. She then tailors a care program, to you, with our Director of Nursing, to you based on your needs. Her passion for providing excellence in service is apparent in all that she does.
A little about Christina: I was born and raised in Lexington, NC. After working ten years for Davidson County with the Department of Social Services, I decided to transition into a part-time job to spend more time with my children. While I enjoyed this opportunity, I also realized that I needed a purpose outside of the home. That's when I decided it was time to go back to work full-time and found Home Instead Senior Care! I'm married to my husband, Chad, and we have two children. I spend my spare time watching our children participate in their many sporting events and activities and spending time with family and friends. We are active members of Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church in Thomasville.
Fun Fact: Christina and her husband, Chad, have the same birthday! Christina is exactly one year older.
Holly's Role: Holly first started working as a Home Instead Senior Care CAREGiver when we quickly discovered that she has not only the "heart of a CAREGiver" but the brain of an engineer. Because of this we knew that she would make an excellent 2nd staffer, alongside Teresa. With the great knowledge she has from being a CAREGiving she can put herself in our employee's shoes and make sure they are completely happy and confident with the schedules that they have, which ensures client satisfaction.
A little about Holly: I am happily married to my husband, Jeremy, and together we have two dogs (Lady and Lacey) and a cat (Dolly Purrton).
