A tradition of great caregiving means that we take care of our own as well as we take care you and your family.

At Home Instead Senior Care in Omaha, we reward our local CAREGivers with CAREGiver of the Month and CAREGiver of the Year awards to show our appreciation for all they do.

This program inspires CAREGivers to strive for excellence. It creates a sense of pride in the fact that the Home Instead Senior CareSM franchise network recognizes, appreciates and rewards their hard work, compassionate care and service to others.

Anne Dudenhausen - Caregiver of the Month - September 2019

Anne Dudenhausen - Caregiver of the Month - September 2019

When it comes to big personalities, they don’t get much bigger than Anne Dudenhausen. It gives us great joy to honor Anne as our September Caregiver of the Month. Anne also has a pretty incredible Home Instead pedigree, as we provided care for her parents prior to her joining our family as a caregiver. Underneath the smiles and laughter  Anne frequently brings to our office is a tender heart which is compassionate and a grit that is unflappable in any situation. Congratulations Anne and thank you for everything you do for our clients and their families.

Carol Johnson - Caregiver of the Month - August 2019

Carol Johnson - Caregiver of the Month - August 2019

To say that Carol is filled with love would be an understatement. Love for others flows out of Carol in the way that she talks, the way that she acts, the way that she serves, and certainly the way that she hugs. We are very blessed to have her sharing that love with our clients and their families. Congratulations Carol!

Patti Sisolak - Caregiver of the Month - July 2019

Patti Sisolak - Caregiver of the Month - July 2019

From time to time, I get asked some silly questions. One of my favorites is: Stephen, how do you teach someone to be a caregiver? The simple answer is: I don’t. Caregiving is something that you must have a heart for. I can teach someone the requisite skills. I cannot give someone the desire to care for another human. The heart of a caregiver is a rare and precious gift. That beautiful gift has been given in spades to Patti, our Caregiver of the Month for July. From month to month, there are things which caregivers do to earn them that title. For Patti, it was nothing she did. It is simply who she is. Congratulations Patti! We love your heart and are grateful that you are a part of our Home Instead Senior Care family.

Mike Kubin - Caregiver of the Month- June 2019

Mike Kubin - Caregiver of the Month- June 2019

We are grateful for the contributions of Mike Kubic, our June caregiver of the month. Mike is an extraordinary individual who has made an indelible impact on Home Instead Senior Care and the families we serve. In addition to his consistent willingness to pitch in and help, Mike is the epitome of a level-headed professional. His infectious smile and positive attitude put him in high demand with his clients. Recently, one of our clients called the office. When asked what else we could do for her she simply replied, “Just send Mike back!” Congratulations, Mike!

Candice Swinney- Caregiver of the Month- May 2019

Candice Swinney- Caregiver of the Month- May 2019

We are proud to announce that Candice Swinney has been selected as the caregiver of the month for May 2019. While Candice has not been a part of the Home Instead family for very long, she has made an indelible impact on the families she has served. In the last 30 days alone, Candice has been unflappable. When one of our clients suffered a head trauma during her shift, Candice was a consummate professional. When one of our clients was showing symptoms of a heart attack, Candice recognized the signs and contacted first responders without hesitation. There is no question that her decisive action saved the client’s life. At Home Instead Senior Care, we speak a lot about changing lives. Candice Swinney was not happy to stop there. She has decided to save them too. Congratulations, Candice! You are a shining example of what it looks like to “Make Home Instead a Great Place To Be.”
