Home Instead Senior Care and Andrea were a perfect match for one another! During the 6 years that she spent working towards her Master’s in Business degree from Wayne State College, Andrea worked as in-home care provider for seniors. This experience and her strong desire to help seniors and those who are disabled stay in their homes, led her to her fulfilling journey with Home Instead Senior Care. After serving as the General Manager for 11 years, Andrea and her husband Levi purchased the business in 2018. Andrea takes great pride in leading a dynamic, close-knit team that is responsible for changing the face of aging in the communities that they serve. Levi works full time with Black Hills Energy. Their passion is time with their family. Levi and Andrea have been blessed with 5 precious children--daughters-Graycen, Ashlyn, and Brooklyn and son Logan light up their lives and their home with love and laughter. Their beloved daughter Lauryn, who was stillborn, smiles down upon them from Heaven.
Jennifer has lengthy career experience in the service industry working as a case manager in New York for people with developmental disabilities. This experience made her a perfect fit for her move to Nebraska and her career with Home Instead Senior Care. As our Client Care Manager, she is leading the client care team and working with families to find trusted solutions to their long term care needs. Her team continuously evaluates the care they are providing to their clients through a series of ongoing communications and visits to ensure high quality care and client satisfaction. Jennifer and her husband Mike live near Carroll, NE. Jennifer enjoys spending time with family, visiting their cabin by the river, watching the Yankees, and traveling.
Cheryl came to Home Instead Senior Care with a wealth of knowledge and experience in Human Resources, having received her PhD in HR and having worked in both HR adminisration and as a HR professor at Wayne State College. Her experience and knowledge coupled with her passion for people made her a perfect fit for Home Instead Senior Care. As the Human Resources Manager, Cheryl leads the efforts of CAREGiver recruitment. She strives to provide our valued CAREGivers with the training, support, resources, and tools they need to be most successful in their important position of caring for our treasured clients. When not busy at work, Cheryl enjoys the theatre, music, and time with family including her husband Phil and daughter Rachel.
Kim had years of experience working in long term care, before beginning her journey with Home Instead Senior Care. As a Service Coordinator, Kim works hard to ensure that all scheduling needs are met and the right match is made for each CAREGiver and client. She works alongside our Client Care team to ensure good communication between families, CAREGivers, and clients. Outside of work, she most of all enjoys time with family, including her husband Roger and sons Christopher and Cameron.
After a successful career in the business and banking industry, Joan retired and came on board as a valued part time support member of the Home Instead Senior Care team! Two days a week, Joan is the cheerful voice and the helpful hand that greets our callers and visitors to the office. Joan and her husband also farm and they enjoy time with their daughters and grandchildren, as well as traveling together.
